KG has a MVP. A DPOY. Played 21 seasons. 9x all defensive team. 4x rebounding leader. 26k points, 14k rebs.

AD has a ring (like KG). 8 times all-star (KG 15). 4 times All NBA 1st team (like KG). 2 times all-defensive (KG 9). 3 times blocks leader (only thing KG doesn't have).

If AD ended is career now he would be miles away of KG.
Of course, if he stays healthy (not a small if with AD though), I'm pretty sure AD will have a better career and I consider him a better player than KG

i said "if he regresses from here" (basically like kg did--his peak was 9th/10th season, similar age to AD now). in a world where james harden has as many mvps as kobe and steve nash has twice as many, i don't consider that huge point of favor, tbh. too many variables.

all nba teams probably mean the most to me, and kg had 9 total. AD has 4 now.

anyway, i don't think we're really in disagreement here.

KG is a top 15-20 player all time

AD is nowhere near that territory yet, but if he can stay healthy and continue to put up the numbers he has throughout his career he'll get there and maybe even eclipse KG. the only thing stopping him is injuries and maybe age

I care. So, you should too. And if you don't, well, we are gonna have to handle this the old fashioned way. And you don't want none of that.

I'd like to see your top 20. So hard to crack the top 20 on any list these days.

Top 20 all time.....no particular order

    Michael Jordan
    Bill Russell
    Wilt Chamberlain
    Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
    Lebron James
    Larry Bird
    Magic Johnson
    Kobe Bryant
    Tim Duncan
    Shaquille O'Neal
    Karl Malone
    John Stockton
    Charles Barkley
    Allen Iverson
    Isiah Thomas
    Hakeem Olajuwon
    Oscar Robertson
    Julius Erving
    Kevin Garnett
    Dirk Nowitzki

That is how many great players have played in the NBA. Left out Curry, Durant, Mikan, West, so many. But those 20 right there are undeniable. Dirk could be replaced by Curry or Durant eventually but right now, he gets the 20th spot for doing everything in his career and doing it without a prime star with him. The only stars he had on his team were a little over their primes or not yet in their prime players.

That's a great list right there. In fact, if you move Bird up and with some very minor changes (Bron and Kareem moved up), that'd be a good top 10 list in order.

    f*** Crowder!

I hope Dwight hits him with a little forearm shiver in the next one.

If it wasn't Crowder and if AD didn't accidentally kick him in between the legs earlier, you're probably right.

Why is he following AD? They're on offense, there's an open gap for him to fill as a 3 point shooter if he runs straight up the court. He cuts in to AD's path and then "falls" and hits AD's leg/ankle. He's not getting the benefit of the doubt from me.

ok, but also maybe he tripped.

and if we've got a problem with crowder, just deck his a** instead of a back-kick to the groin or whatever. bring it to light.

still eternally love fisher for just blowing up scola and basically ending the dude's career on a single play without injuring him: "oh, you're a big tough guy, right? be tough from your a**"

He may have tripped, but you don’t have to shove someone on the way down, just fall, it was intentional. Crowder is a dirty punk, and you can’t retaliate these days to that or you’ll be suspended half the season, it’s the refs job to call that. Even if he did trip and fall, it’s still a foul if you shove someone, otherwise guys could fake trip and fall and shove players to get away with fouls all the time.

Tbf, a Fisher like shoulder charge would get you suspended for half the season in this day and age

if that was intentional, it was marvelously disguised, and most likely not up for review for penalty of any kind. If nothing else, 5 Stars for acting ability, but 0 Stars for character. If AD whacked his groin on purpose previously, I'm curious as to their back story. Not that much though. Nobody got hurt, so who cares.

but if someone got hurt, pretty much wanna see some balls in a vice and pain on faces
