I think I agree. Kyrie could turn this into a last stand of defiance thing to justify leaving altogether. But something tells me he’ll be here this season, somehow some way.
Here's what that 10% of the league who hasn't received the shot has to look forward to this season (in addition to not being able to play in select markets and losing money) https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.es...ny-same-restrictions-rest-league?platform=amp
CCP is sitting back and laughing at us and saying, you are gonna drink it whether you want to or not. I'm curious to see if I'm gonna last long enough to see this country get sunk. Pretty depressing times.
they can stop receiving millions of dollars to play children's games and choose an "essential" job and be free from all of that! i wonder how consistent fan opinion of the vaccine policy is with fan opinion of stern's weird dress code. was authoritarianism invoked then? i don't remember it. i remember lots of "common decency", and "look professional" takes, though. and your baggy pants weren't going to kill someone's grandma.
Good! Nice that we won’t hopefully get blindsided like we did by DS last season at the most inopportune time.
https://www.yahoo.com/sports/stephen-smith-says-nets-kyrie-133131448.html @LTLakerFan says Yahoo Sports should proofread LOL .... before they maybe fix it: Stephen A. Smith says Nets should Kyrie Irving if he won’t get vaccine
if you have a key player that will be unavailable for half your games, that could be a season killer. He has a point. Something of note I thought was interesting. It says they won't be paid if they don't follow local mandates. This opens the door for LOTS of new requirements throughout the year in each new City. Hopefully that won't happen, but the possibility remains.
lol: a city ordinance in indianapolis passed last night, paving the way for it to be illegal for people whose names rhyme with "delong vames" to enter into public buildings. but seriously, no.
It's a thing in New York and San Fran. Not sure there is a reason to think other cities won't do the same thing or add to it.
sorry--i thought you meant extending the conditions, not the geography. the latter is totally fine and not scary. the former is problematic. requiring public health measures is neither new nor threatening. so i'm fine with doing the same thing in places that choose to (freedom). as far as extending it, i'd have to hear what that meant. mine was obviously a farce.
If you've ever played Balderdash, it's hilarious and frightening to hear some of the laws still on the books in cities all over the place. Truly outdated stuff, wow. Nothing would surprise me.
