    oh, good call!

    ok, i'll warm up:

melo doesn't play defense. his prime was many years ago. it is his fault we lost this game. why can't he be more like markieff morris. we won a championship with markieff morris.

As long as the big 3 are healthy, I don't think there will be any scapegoats. That being said, some will find something to complain about if we don't go 82-0. Green, Javale and Rondo were the usual flak catchers during the title run. It is what it is.

Yeah, the flak for DG was the worst during the playoffs, then Rondo (until the playoffs). For Javale it was mostly smh level stuff all season.

I'm sorry but you've been cut from the squad. You're gonna have to stay in stats until another position becomes available. Thanks for applying

i'm sorry if your eyes can't see that we're losing all these games because we let markieff morris/jared dudley/dennis schroder go, but trust me: i KNOW basketball.

"Instead, the Lakers will move forward with Jordan and Howard in the middle, although L.A. is unlikely to start either at center."

So AD IS starting at the 5 spot, and no doubt finishing games there as well.

I'd like to think he would have finished out his contract with us if we didn't have to play roster politics that year.

That's the thing though, we didn't HAVE to. Rob made promises that we couldn't possibly deliver on. Marc given starter role. Trezz promised a certain number of minutes. Drumm promised a starting spot. Let's ignore the Dennis the Menace. Giving 3 centers the indication they'll be getting a starter's role or at least starting caliber minutes when none of them can play PF is one of the dumbest series of moves a GM has made in quite awhile.

The trickle down of that bone head move was the drama it caused in the locker room. Not exactly a thriving environment when you're trying to repeat.

Exactly, you summed it up. Actually thought Rob did a good job retooling after a championship but then when you see that he made impossible promises... maybe that was the only way he nailed some signings...

I was really enjoying when he had the ball in his hands and making plays with his passing. What turned it all to s*** was AD getting injured early and then someone else I think and suddenly we had no real depth for defense down low. And missed AD in there along side him per the original plan and helping at the rim. Trez wasn’t big enough or good enough to defend well at the 5.

promising gasol the starting spot was fine. he was a starting center, and we didn't have one at the time. promising trezz minutes was fine. we had those minutes, too. it was the drummond and schroder promises that were moronic.

gasol did exactly what we needed, imo. and the injuries made the FO get desperate on the drummond thing. it wouldn't have mattered anyway, as the injuries returned and doomed us. but it was still wrong.
