Good luck playing superior D with both Irving and Love in the lineup .

Warriors didn't play their best ball too because everybody said the series was over after Irving injury ... It's not easy to play against a diminished team which has nothing to lose ... remember our series against Houston in 09 ...

    I wasn't even thinking about Love ;)
They missed Irving and Verejao more than Kevin. Healthy Irving would save Bron some energy me thinks.

Varejao missed 232 games since 10-11 ... I think I have as many chances as him to be on the floor in a Finals game .

Kyrie missing 56 games in his 1st four NBA seasons ( plus part of this postseason )... It doesn't look good too health wise .

Here comes the excuses now. There is no difference moron, he's lost 4x now. Like it's his teammates faults for him getting blasted by Dirk in 2011 and him wilting like a lawnchair. Blame the teammates for him getting handled by the Spurs and fading away yet again.

    Unreal man.

Yeah I got two things from watching the game and his post-game interview:
    1. All this silly nonsense about how many points he could score if he took more shots needs to be put to rest. This series he took a ton of shots which I actually have nothing but respect for. I thought it took guts for him to finally- I say FINALLY- stop worrying about his almighty FG% and just go for it. In doing so though he proved that a) he's only efficient because he picks and chooses his spots extremely carefully (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) and b) he cannot score like the best of them. He just can't do it. He proved in this series why he's NOT Jordan or Kobe. Sorry ESPN! He doesn't have that in him.

    2. He knew during the game he was going to lose so he did. Self-fulfilling prophecy for the win! The dude knew he didn't have the horses and he gave up. He put up all kinds of numbers, but in the end he gave up the last game. I stuck up for him because the five games prior to this were a tremendous effort, but this last game was a microcosm of why NBA fans can't embrace him. ESPN might never understand it, but LeBron is a Beta. He's the greatest player in the world and he just doesn't have the Alpha mentality.

Case in point: Curry was a beast shot maker down the stretch. He was making shots right in Cleveland's grill and kept their run at bay.

He might have had the quietest 32-18-9 game I've seen.

Health is part of the game. We've discussed it time and time again, Kyrie and Love are injury prone. You can't change that it happened, it happened, and that's how it went down.

If that was the case, you can say Kobe is 5-0 in Finals rather than 5-2 because 2004 Karl Malone was hurt, and 2008 Andrew Bynum was hurt. At the end of the day, you don't use that as an excuse, you use it as motivation. But Lebron isn't that type of player. He's not the one who sits and watches the C Bags celebrate in front of you after getting crushed. He's not the one to sit there and tell his team use it as motivation. He's not going to be the one to come back and win back to back against the very same team that knocked him out. No. That's not the type of player he is. There's only one man that did that and that's why he will always be known as the greatest in my book.

Personal agenda - This is a big karmic @#$# YOU to Dan Gilbert for the veto, getting 3 #1 overall picks, and being an overall crybaby of an owner.

He got to the Finals my man, that's not too bad for karmic return on his previous douchebaggery.

Real karmic return for all of that would be if he didn't make the playoffs.

Well, he's already made it to the Finals before, its the fact that he got so close and didn't get it is what makes it sweet. Of course, the full extent of the karma hasn't been leveled out yet, but oh you know...

Cleveland would have to get to the Finals and lose 3-4 more times for me to say "okay this is karma".

I look forward to that possibility...

I'm calling it.... Cleveland gets to the finals again next year and just before game 1, Dan Gilbert brings his friends into the Cleavland showers, looks at LaBronz and says "Look at that beautiful Black body", then proceeds to tell his girlfriend not to take pictures with Magic Johnson... we sit back, and watch the fireworks

all the excuses have begun. Watching the end of 1st take and accidentally hearing Wiley's dumbAsh on SN has me cringing. SAS actually said, "Lebron hasn't had a full team going into the Finals. MJ always had a full team." Does the execs at the HOuse of Mouse have blackmail pics on all the writers at ESPN?

Lebron James is a front runner plane and simple. If it wasn't for the hypocritical way the media treats him he would be considered a straight loser. He puts up big numbers and hardly ever (even in this series I believe) when it counts. The media started praising him for his D because he had some great come from behind dunk blocks with Miami. Yea those are nice but Miami had a swarming defense and, lets not forget, was allowed to be physical with teams that couldn't do the same in return. Lebron is praised for "making teammates better" until they lose then all of a sudden he has had no help in ANY of his years he lost. He is praised for being the "Best Player on the Planet" yet in the 4th qtr, OT and the clutch time of games he is about as threatening as Kwame Brown getting a bullet pass in the paint to win the game. He is praised for being "The fittest guy in the NBA (or sports period)" and yet every year we hear how tired he is and must be. None of the other Greats needed so many disclaimers to prove they are worthy of that accolade. Yes, Lebron did a first he made people forget to actually look at what he is doing and evaluate without all the hyper over-the-top(ness). Im glad they lost.

28 times a player has taken 30+ FG in a Finals game. How many have averaged <1 Point Per Shot?

    LeBron James 24 on 30
    Scottie Pippen 26 on 35
LeBron James 32 on 33* this Finals

Sharing this with Pippin makes this is a very interesting stat that lends some credence to the notion that he is really a beta trying to be an alpha.

All these excuses for his team's injuries. Did anyone feel sorry for our Lakers when Malone and Grant got hurt? How about in 08 when Bynum was hurt? Kobe could be 7 - 0. But no one gives him a pass, but they are quick to give it to bron. Sickening.

The only things I heard on ESPN today that bugged me are that some people are saying really LeBron is 2-2 in the Finals because his first against the Spurs and this one shouldn't count because he had no help. He did have no help, but come on now, you can't wipe 2 Finals away like they didn't happen to make the guy look better. There's no reason for an excuse like that to be given to LeBron, when many other stars in NBA history have lost because key players on their team went down with injuries. It's a legit excuse as to why he didn't win, he lost to better teams, but you can't ignore and wipe clean the losses. It's almost like these ESPN guys are paid to prop up LeBron. He's 2-4, not 2-2, it is what it is.

It's the same way the media ignores Jordan's years in Washington, his years before Pippen, or the year Shaq put him out of the playoffs. To hear them, Jordan won the title every year.

Early NBA 2016 odds...Vegas has Cleveland on top at 9-4, Dubs and OKC at 5-1, the Hallway Wannabees 10-1, Jurassic Spurs and Chi-town at 12-1. Ain't life great? Their reasoning for the Return of The King? The script will follow what he did in South Beach... Better health, better chemistry, all that beautiful stuff.

Oh and the Lakers? 80-1. The Knicks are with us. Bottom feeders...200-1? MinnesoTowns, Jordan's Charlottenaires, The Seventy-Fixers and the Orlando Tragic.

So, I guess Magic was really 5-2 instead of 5-4, because he was hurt in '89, didn't have Kareem in '91.

And Kobe is really 5-1 and not 5-2 because Bynum and Ariza were hurt.
