Somehow I don’t see Doncic coming here for the Hollywood life and to pair with AD. He seems like he just prefers to lead a small market team with nobodies to a championship, the Giannis way. I could be wrong.

i think he just wants to win, and dallas is on the clock to get there. he's watched atlanta build a conference finalist around trae young (an inferior player) with basically the same starting point. and atlanta doesn't exactly have a great rep.

with dallas looking like it's going to be a loser in the FA/trade market again this year, the time starts getting tight.

will he likely sign his rookie extension? yes. but he might not sign it for full years, and nothing precludes trade demands.

i don't think he'll sit around like dirk waiting for them to do the right things in the front office, though.

It's crazy to see how much NBA guys ball out for their countries in the Olympics.

actually loved fish leveling him. houston was playing the aggressor in that series, and fish saw it and ended it. just awesome.

Yeah I wanted to see Luka vs. the entire USA team. But France beat us twice recently, so we need to beat them to earn this Gold.

Hate the career path he's taken. His interactions with the media and on social. His team and his teammates.

BUT thanks KD for the gold. We don't get to this game or beat France without his past few games. Playing otherworldly.

Yikes , we missed a great opportunity , too many TOs ( mostly due to Team USA pressure ) and especially too many missed FT's.

I heavily struggle with the concept of opponents to let KD go 1 on 1 , you know he's going to beat you ...

yeah, he's not very likeable anymore, but i have to admit i thought he was done a superstar after the achilles. and he most certainly was not.

Do you live there too? Sorry for all the questions just curious. Just here on LB we have people from outside the US in many countries …. it’s amazing the international appeal of the team.

    I'm from Portugal

NBA is hot here, many Lakers fans too. Real followers, not bandwagon s***. My roommate is a Phoenix Suns, he laughed first but too soon in the playoffs ahah

We watched the last game of Kobe together, it was a big deal at the time, there were bars open just for that (started 3.30pm here).
