Roller coaster ride but Im on board. Russ/Lebron/AD. The talent is there to win it all on paper. They've gotta work harder and smarter to clean up their deficiencies if this is gonna work

Here's what I like best about our 3 over Brooklyn's 3. Our 3 are all about basketball. Harden is about his strip clubs and you never know what Kyrie you going to get. He can roll out of bed and be in his crazy flat earth kick or God knows what else. He's the NBA's Kanye.

I don't know if there's a duo who takes basketball more seriously than Bron and Russ.

    Meh...

Both he and LeBron need the ball in their hands... how's that going to work?

    Weird trade in my opinion.

Bron wants to play more off ball when possible. Also, when LBJ is on the bench, you need a mini version of him to score and make plays for others.

I get it but I want to see how it actually works. It's hard to change after so many years playing a certain way. I guess we shall see how this experiment goes.

I would imagine two great players would figure it out but you never know... it could be a horrible fit too. I thought the Westbrook, Harden pairing was not a good fit for either. Of course LeBron is a far greater player than Harden and if anyone could make it work it would be him but I have concerns about playing style and fit.

The more I think about this trade the more I like it.

Who would have thought we would have been able to get a third star with the pieces we had. This is the kind of swing for the fence move we had to make to maximize our championship window with Lebron. So many times last season I yelled at my TV for the team to play with more passion, more sense of urgency and you know Westbrook will give you that every night. I compare his addition like Artest's back in 2009-2010, there were probably better fits/options but his hungriness will help when it counts.

    Welcome home Westbrook

Lebron plays 28 min next year, a game, Westbrook controls the ball the other 20 min. Perfect.

Doesn’t take a whole lot of vision to see the Lakers making this work to their great improvement. If we keep AC and THT and still have the taxpayer MLE to woo an important role player. Though I expect it will be Drummond stuffing his pride on the salary cut and still wanting back in.

Bring back Matthews, Morris and sign Carmelo. Have Jeanie offer a hug too to Gasol for the hurt feelings, and whatever other big man we want here for 4/5 depth. Hugs for everyone.

Im not sure I feel about this. While westbrook will definitely have an impact, his stats haven't necessarily translated to wins. He's also not a great fit in addition to this, and we lost our best 3 pt shooter in KCP. And what about his contract?

I will say though with Bron's leadership/presence, we'll likely the see the best of Russell, and less of his drawbacks. We'll see.

Porbably affects THT more than anyone else not named LeBron.

There are two players in the past 20 years who he should consider lucky to be able to study and pick their brain. One of Wade (one of Bron's bffs) and the other is Russ. Should help fast track his development if he's studious.
