Ben Simmons would've been playing for the Australian team but apparently opted out so he could focus on improving his basketball skills instead.

I'm not sure why Love was even invited... He hasn't been a noteworthy player for years now and I think someone younger deserves it such as Randle.

Harden is clearly healthy enough to play... so much for the hamstring.

Great to see KD in it. The man just loves to play basketball.

Tons of shooters on this team but not much defense. It's going to be some crazy scoring games. Lillard and KD would be fun to watch.

kevin love? rest of the team is very good for international competition, imo.

feel like both harden and paul will likely opt out, though, leaving lillard as the only pg on the roster.

I’m shocked KD is playing, he looked absolutely gassed at the end of game 7. I just hope he stays healthy, but if he plays of course I’ll be rooting for him.

    From beating them like this...

To losing to them is insane. I get they have 3 NBA players in their starting 5 BUT they're coached by Mike Brown. We lost to Mike Brown.

What's the starting 5 and the one which finishes ? If Draymond is in both of them , you're playing 4 on 5 on offense

I’m enjoying it honestly. The soft NBA players are treating it like an All-Star game and thinking the refs are going to bail their a**** out, but they aren’t, and they’re being exposed for their nonsense.

Haven't watched the games but I'm surprised Pop is struggling to maximize this group.

I've read a lot of jokes that the nation can now sympathize with Blazers fans because we're relying on the "Dame save us" offense.

Maybe getting Middleton and Booker will help balance and Holiday will be able to get after these guards that we're struggling to guard... assuming those 3 aren't exhausted from the finals.

They shouldn't need anyone else. This can actually be a good thing so they play 100% the whole tournament

they shouldn't need booker, middleton, and holiday to be successful. they should be beating these teams easily with the current roster

either they're just not trying, or pop isn't cut out to lead an olympic squad (much like his mentor larry brown was the worst guy for the job in 04)
