Magic brought me so many wonderful memories in my childhood, but man, he is making it tough for me to still like him. The dude is a walking bad take.
lol, magic: we missed danny green. this is why you're fired. we had the league's best defense and plenty of other guys were available to miss open threes night after f***ing night.
it's so bad when hall of fame players who actually played and were all timers, make these stupid statements. You can tell he doesnt watch the games or is just talking without thinking. Lakers lost because Anthony f***ing Davis was out. What's with all the b*******? We didnt shoot well? Ya, I know, we saw. However, when AD was busting everyone up in Game 2 and 3, they were missing then too but the Lakers still won. That's it. There is no mystery. If Kyrie plays in the Nets series the last few games, the Nets are in the ECF. This is a top tier talent league. If any of those guys are out, it's major problems. It's common freakin sense.
like quitting on your franchise on live tv and continuing dissing the franchise/rob as you walk out on us Magic? that laker mentality?
yeah, i made the mistake of watching a few minutes of that segment, in which magic rambles around about the west getting better (it really didn't) but then blaming murray's injury for denver's loss. then saying that denver and utah and phx are to be feared because they're young, with the lakers' remedy being...i guess reversing the schroder/danny green trade? using the MLE to get a young superstar? can't believe this guy was ever making any consequential basketball decisions here.
….. and multiple times later on national tv shows including earlier same day Frank Vogel has his press conference for Laker Nation.
Have not and won’t watch but damn it sounds somewhat like 2nd guessing (dissing) Rob’s performance building this year’s roster. After Rob has taken the high road ever since …. including an early phone call to Magic the night they won the championship.
magic seems drunk a lot, but i don't think he's a drinker? i didn't watch the whole thing, but he names rob and sort of suggests he's up to the task...of fixing his terrible mistakes? seriously, it's just not coherent. do people watch this stuff on purpose?
It makes you wonder how Magic built up his business empire. Like, did he just smile at people and they gave him a good deal? Was he lucky in his timing to make deals with the right people at the right time? Because while he was a basketball savant, he seems like he might have a room temperature IQ.
well, having a lot of money to start with tends to be REALLY useful in amassing fortunes. people who equate wealth with intelligence...really aren't paying attention.
Zubac was never going to be re-signed and he's a role playing center. How does something like that affect you, lol.
was watching a youtube channel and this guy put in a good way, there are people 2 kinds of people, one who has a threshold on value of $ and power and another who has no limits to their lust for $/power, the more $/power these folks get the more theyre willing to cross that line to hold and acquire more $/power
