Agreed. Overall we need to speed up his development next season .

He needs a ton of reps as a ballhandler off the bench and next to Lebron too .

Don't give me "this Caruso handles the ball while THT chills on the weakside" nonsense we've seen at times this season anymore

 

I agree. He just needs to work on his mid range game and add the traditional jump shot. He has serious raw talent. He also needs to work harder on defense. I think THT will be really good in a few years.

We need that great Kurt Russell pissed off face and determination in his Wyatt Earp film where he swears to bring the wrath of something HUGE down on the bad guys that shot up his family (Lakers and Chicago) if this happens. Arenas Rule deal or bust … amirite? Do they have anything worth giving him up for they would let go?

 

That’s my point, money wise, we can keep that from happening. Do the Lakers value him enough to spend that kind of commitment with the Arenas deal, OR would they rather spend less and try to sign and trade him for someone that could really help us now? I hope we keep him as we have been down this path so many times watching our hard won and scouted talent leave and blossom on other teams.

i think if chicago offers the full arenas, we just match. it might mean we let schroder walk for nothing, but the market will have spoken. his cost would still be reasonable for the first two years, and if he busts, we're only on the hook for two bad salary years (at least one of which we'll still be capped out anyway, no matter what.

i'll be surprised if THT leaves this summer, tbh.

 

And Mann only shot 1.4 3PA this season... dude heat up real hot.

 

yeah, it's hard to call him a "shooter". mckinnie shot 40% from three this year, too.

That didn’t go unnoticed here either with similar bemusement. Then I remember Julius getting down to 2% body fat to no avail with Magic with similar work ethic …. and look at his shooting now.

 

i'm sure he's working on his shooting, but if you're going to be releasing hype videos, i think those are the ones people want to see. let's see THT drain 15/20 around the arc in under a minute. then he's allowed so show me some right jabs.

 

Got to get in the shape of his life first to shoot those 2000 3s twice a day after running a mile first each time ….
