Mavs still finish 5th in a 3 way tie with us and Blazers right ( division winner) ? I guess they prefer to finish 6th if Denver stays at number 3.

Saw some reports about how Luke is likely safe in his head coaching position with Sacramento. I was a bit surprised, because I felt like he hasn’t accomplished much the past few years despite some small amounts of hype around Sacramento’s potential.

Turns out, at 62-82, Luke has the second highest winning percentage for any coach in Sacramento Kings franchise history. Only behind Rick Adelman.

That is so hilarious to me for some reason :D

what a d***, is that really Kwame? Someone should arrest that j******, that seemed very threatening. Does the NBA provide a pension to players?? Could they do anything to him?

Man, I hate to say this because he’s wearing that green ... but I love Jayson Tatum. If this kid can get off the C Bags and onto a competent franchise, he’s going to be a MVP in this league sooner rather than later.

    *sad trombone*

    thanks, tankers.

i enjoyed it. kwame brown caught A LOT of s*** from fans and talking heads. he didn't ask for that stuff. he was just disappointing to many as a basketball player. lots of folks have been without being mercilessly taunted for it.

i'm pretty sure kwame had a tough pre-basketball life, then i KNOW he had a tough basketball life. and he clearly had/has some emotional/psychological issues. but i understand his anger, for sure.

let's see what SAS has to say in a room with him. maybe people should think about this more often when they talk.

well, sports people talk so much krap, I do understand that sentiment. But the dude is certifiable. What is his take on MJ?? Would like to hear him say this about Jordan! He is the guy that belittled the holy hell out of him and set him up for a lifetime of grief. SAS is just echoing what MJ started. SAS has a big mouth but is right more often than a broken clock. LOL, maybe not much more but he has some takes that are on point, he has a lot that are garbage. That seems to be what sports commentators do. It's like working for CNN or FOX. It is what you are employed to do.

i imagine his take on mj is justifiably similar? he bullied an 18 year old kid for not being tough enough for a man's league. great stuff, fella. and yes, it's partly his fault that the SAS's of the world got on board. but nobody held a gun to SAS's head to do this. he could choose not to be an a******. or maybe he needs a good whipping in seattle?

Oh please hire Kidd. What could go wrong? Stevens and him .... sittin’ in a tree. College kids and young players will love him. Did so much here. Etc.

Take Kidd. In an ideal world, we get pick compensation (even a 2nd rounder) and he sends that team into the ground (don't think he's a good coach), and that sends Tatum running to us in eventual free agency.

It does suck they might be more competent in the front office now. Not sure what Stevens' plan is, but it has to be better than stack picks. Fail. Rinse and repeat.

i was wondering if and when anyone was going to talk about stevens the wondercoach and his 7th-place-in-the-east C Bags.

anyway, i'd be curious to hear the real story here (guessing we won't get it).

Living in ATL, here's a thought I've contemplated a fair bit....

Obviously Mavs won the trade. Luka is better than Trae. I think Hawks were high on the Steph comparisons. Both are franchise players and it's not like Hawks got fleeced. Difference is Luka is on a first ballot HOF path, Trae is going to see some all star games and can be a deadly shooter.

Would both be who they are today if Luka stayed a Hawk and Trae went to Dallas? Did culture and coaching help Luka or would he have been Luka wherever he went? I know my thoughts but want to see the consensus here before chiming in.
