Not suspended. But I have a feeling the refs will de facto suspend him today. If we lose today, the “he should have been suspended” chants won’t be as loud in Silver’s ear.

Why? That's not the refs job for one thing, the other is Silver didn't suspend Harden, why exactly should he have suspended Lebron? Every player that violated protocol wasn't suspended, it depends on the particulars of the situation. You hear about the big name guys, but a lot of no name guys violated the protocol in some extent and weren't punished. Much ado about nothing IMO.

The League wants drama in this series between CP3 and Bron. The only way for that to happen is is the Lakers are down early in the series.

More likely the refs will simply suck. Stand over replays from multiple angles for 3 minutes and then still get wrong what everyone can see at home.

Bron had a good game. It's always a feel-out game for him. His teammates let him down, though. You can't be expecting Bron to run the offense and the other team outscores the Lakers every time Bron gets some rest. He's 36 while the rest of the youngins (Schroder, AD, Kuzma, KCP, Trezz) can't do anything without him. It's almost embarrassing watching some of these players play getting paid millions.

The only guy who actually did something valuable out there. OK, Trez and Drum brought some energy, but Bron is the only player getting a pass today.

Please do not make this a political discussion, I’m only sharing the information because it’s relevant

I can already see people viewing this as Adam Silver giving Lebron/Lakers cover. *rolls eyes*

I still don't understand all the fuss, besides the fact that it involves Lebron.

i would understand bron getting special treatment if he had gone to a club or something like that

but it was an outdoor event where the participants had to have proof of vaccination or a negative test. i believe under the current protocols, the team would've had to run it by the league first which they didn't do and that seems to be the main issue

So, even with that, maybe it has already NOT been applied to everyone and the NBA knows if they make an example out of Lebron, there are other instances that will come to light that will make them look even worse.

Honestly, everyone is getting totally overworked on this thing. Hell, when we cannot even talk about the source of the whole outbreak or the lies perpetrated by our own Director of NIAID, seems like trying to lay down the specifics of this case, when we don't really even know the specifics is kind of ludicrous.

If we can't talk about any of the OTHER sh*t, why should we use this as the place to start?

He played very well: nice jumper and the Dirk fade aways were on.

Overall, he looked really good rebounding the ball but not sure he has the explosiveness/conditioning back just yet. Got a step on Payne a few times and didn't seem like he thought he had enough lift to finish thru him and so settled for an pass out or setting up the post game

Couple of huge shots to finish them off. But I'm guessing the ankle is still an issue because he was not going to the rim at all tonight.

Each of his clutch jumpers were huge in the moment. A couple of threes, a fade away over Johnson. Yet I take it for granted and just assume he’s going to hit those shots at this point.

Crazy that at his age and recent injuries, it’s still kind of ingrained in the DNA of the team: try to do things right as a team, but at the end of the day you have Lebron hero ball to fall back on which is still going to work out more often than not.

Would love to see a more comfortable win to allow him to get some more rest on that ankle though, because yeah the explosiveness isn’t quite the same.

The ankle is still an issue . Not sure (would have to watch again) there were so many lanes to drive though tonight .

I thought it was more obvious in Game 1 where he could have spun baseline .

But yeah the power plays aren't there yet

The ankle seems to be getting better each game, as well as the rust and jumper.

Hit some big shots. Hops seemed OK on that lob from AD

He seems to be feeding off the crowds and trash talking opportunities. Not sure why they'd poke the bear at this point.

Finally trusting that ankle enough to go to the basket. Completely different game when that happens.
