I would at least give Morris a shot, for a few mins, he can’t miss forever. He plays well with AD when his shot is on, he’s our only true 4 that can shoot threes.
One year Robert Horry was missing threes the entire playoff run. Fish had one playoffs like that too. Extended cold streaks are a thing.
Oh I agree, but I’d still try him for a few mins, if he’s still ice cold then I pull him and that’s that. Unless he’s so bad in practice that they know he’s not gonna make anything, I dunno.
He's rested , is the best fit next to AD and was important in last season playoffs . He deserves a 5 minutes run without a doubt
He had a great offensive game. 15/12 in 24 minutes. We need to figure out a way to prevent Ayton getting those easy dunks. Not sure if it's all on Drummond, but it starts with him.
I thought he played a good game but I don't know if the Lakers can play either him or Gasol when the Suns go to these 5 out lineups. Just too hard for these guys to rotate to the 3 point line multiple times in a single possession. Commit to AD at the 5 like they did to end of the game
Even the buckets that end up being an easy score in the paint have me going “No... no... yes”. At this point I’m surprised when he DOESN’T fumble the ball away. I get nervous seeing him on the floor at all in the fourth quarter to be honest. But with that said, obviously a great game from him. Stay active and keep crashing the boards and he’ll deliver enough value for us
Drummond gets consistently hacked with no calls entirely to many times. Maybe it's the home court thing.
Yeah it appears fans are not the only ones to pick on him . Refs are eager to call him for fouls on the defensive end too
He was solid, it was very good to see. He had nice energy from the jump too, and we definitely needed that, refs immediately halted any flow 1 minute into the game with that ridiculous flagrant review on AD. He had me laughing early too with that 3 tap offensive rebound bucket and that slow motion drive for a layup from like around the free throw line.
good activity on the offensive glass, particularly on that moses malone sequence. i'm still not bullish on his overall impact, but more of this is better than game 1.
I thought it was his best game as a Laker thus far considering the importance of the win and his good job in making it happen. This double double was not empty stats. More of this please.
