Man, it was great to see him back out there making a big contribution. No rust. 3 ball looked really good. Good energy on both sides of the ball. I almost think if you play McLemore, you need a Wes and maybe AC out there to cover his limitations on D. And I agree on the above that with all the little injuries KCP racks up, maybe give him some of those minutes too
I am sorry for bringing this up over and over since the beginning of the season, but this man has to play. I like everything he brings: toughness, physicality, defense, experience and outside shooting. I predict he could be big for us in the playoffs. I know we need to develop THT, but when the playoffs start, Wes is the guy to use as much as we can afford. And with meaningful minutes, his 3pt% goes up.
Absolutely! I love what Wes brings out there and we will probably face a host of great back courts this post season where we need his D and 3s.
Frank's pretty much done experimenting as no more time left. So it's going to be the available players that can D the eff up, are smart on D and can shoot the ball decently.
Huge effort. This is why he's here. The 3 with under 3 minutes left. The save and tip on KCP's miss. The D on everyone from Rose to Randle, getting key stops, denials, and TOs against them in the final few minutes + OT.
Amazing how well coached this team is defensively. No. 1 in the NBA even with AD/Lebron/Schroder missing huge chunks of the season
I trust Wes to make the smarter decision. Kuz might be younger, taller, and more likely to drive the ball but he can go Shaqtin A Fool at a moment's notice.

Yeah good news to have him ( I guess) fresh for the playoffs . Wes couldn't have substained this play every other day schedule plus he had achilles tightness/soreness not too long ago . He's a player Vogel can plug in with the starters without pb with his IQ and experience without being worried about the lack of familiarity
