Anthony Davis Discussion: Only Player On Both All NBA + All Def

Whether AD is #1 or #2 or #5 its irrelevant, I would rather have him on our team than not.

 

i care about him bringing home a ring by demolishing smallball opponents that have given lebron fits in the past and am contextualizing our current struggles in the larger picture of "we're in good shape and this is a bad year".

i brought up tatum because someone else (foolishly) did. the C Bags sure as hell wish AD hadn't shunned them. they set up their entire team-building philosophy around getting him. they passed on many trades to keep the powder dry for him. but we got him and won a title. and they got to keep tatum and his 60 point game in an overtime win against the 10th place spurs to keep the C Bags in 7th place. oh, if only we could have him.

this place drives me nuts sometimes, and that is definitely my fault.

People just want to jump on players coming back from injury: I guess I'm old enough to have been hurt now several times to give these guys a break

 

Thats the most active I have seen AD all year. So many rim runs to get early position, pick and pop, pick and roll with AD2. A whole variety of intentional touches tonight. Need more of this.

his stats looked better. his impact was the same it's been all year: positive. it's sort of like how everyone has complained all year about our pick and roll defense when...we have the league's best defense.

Last night was the best game he's had since he's been back. I hope there's no regression from that, cause it should serve as a good springboard for him his mental game and it was against one of the best front courts in the West.

Hope it's a combo of trusting his body, getting his legs under him, knocking off the rust and realizing the sense of urgency in closing out these final games with some wins.

They mentioned it last night during the telecast and I'm having a hard time coming up with a list. Who can make that recovery and block?


Maybe Bam? But he doesn't have the length and reach of AD.
