The Hedgehog was on some f u pay me type steez on the 50 cent side of the game tonight. And he got in Flat Earth's head.
I don't know why the Nets kept switching other than the fact that Nash and MDA make for the worst defensive duo on any sideline. Dennis took advantage of every switch. I wish he'd do that more, especially while Bron and AD are out. He doesn't usually get as many easy paths to the rim as he saw tonight, but with his speed it's there for him a lot. Glad he's was the sacrificial lamb. Taking Kyrie out really ignited our second half push. Hopefully the back/tailbone is OK and he doesn't miss any time.
These refs need to get it together before the playoffs. First Trezz getting tossed and now Dennis. Neither deserved it.
This. Sign AC and THT and Talen will step into that starting roll next year .... he’ll be ready and be better than Schroder. Find a way to S&T DS for a very useful for one season player coming back on an expiring contract? Maybe to replace Harrell if he opts out? It is obvious with THT’s passing and his handles and ability to break down defenses and play D and rebound and overpower mature NBA players already at the age of 20.
He definitely didn't deserve the first tech: I mean Kyrie came at him talking trash and you could Dennis saying "What!?" and then he gets a tech. WTF we should just have some trash player like Kostas due to that Durant and get cheap techs every game
I understand the players being soft due to the way players are developed in the AAU factory, being told they are the greatest for their entire childhood, etc. I don't get why the refs and the league have become so soft. I miss the 80's and 90's.
Kyrie “seems” like a nut case big headed jerk. Because he’s elite thinks he’s “tough”. Doesn’t even have the muscle tone of mid 30’s Rondo or Schroder. Just guessing but I bet Dennis, or Rondo for sure, would kick his a**. He was probably annoyed Schroder was up into him on defense so his ego started the trash talking. Observations from afar.
now kyrie is resorting to the race card in acting like an idiot. https://www.google.com/amp/s/lakers...used-against-him-during-lakers-nets-game/amp/
https://brobible.com/sports/article/kyrie-irving-dennis-schroder-game-off/ Kyrie has some screws loose. Dude gets all into Dennis and then acts all hot and bothered
yeah, nothing new. funny how he's rolling up on him like that because he knows nothing will really happen. wonder if he'd get all the way in his face like that with nobody else around. anyway, to treat it as something other than kyrie's ongoing obvious struggles with mental illness...i wonder if schroder doesn't have the right to use the word based on some understanding that kyrie feels he has of the etymology or somesuch. i'm not qualified to discuss this--nor do i wish to on a basketball message board. but i still think his actions were a) more aggressive and b) unexpectedly so. the latter point we can quibble about i guess.
I wonder what will happen once he asks for day off during playoffs? I think mental health should be taken seriously and Kyrie definitely has some issues there on top of having a poor attitude/entitled feeling.
Well, if the N-word is so derogatory to some out there, I'd like to see what songs these guys have on their playlists on their iPhones to see how truly "offended" they are by that word.
Ben Roethlisberger is a drama queen. Brett Favre was a drama queen. Kyrie Irving is a douche bag who is everything wrong about a professional athlete. Everything minus getting in trouble with the law.
