Wait, go back to the KD Twitter thing. That’s really him talking like that. These guys need to either get off Twitter or give their account to someone to manage who doesn’t make them like like an a**.
KD needs to grow the f*** up and stay off social media. Can you imagine any other top 5 player from any era talking to an actor/interview personality like that?
Dude is a clown. He was better when he STFU. He has really bad handlers. My thoughts on him have turned 180º over the past couple of years. Dude is a moron.
It's still difficult for me to comprehend the KD rant. A part of me wants to make fun of him, but at the same time, there has to be some serious s**t in his background to make him act like that, right? Dude is one of the best players in the history of one of probably 2 most competitive sports out there and he's still insecure enough to actually threathen and throw insults at a guy who he feels disrespected him on the net? Anyway, one more reason not to fear the Nets, I will feel bad for his sorry a** if/when it's confirmed that there is an actual reason for him to be a whiny puss outside of just being borne one.
KD is a child, the most insecure superstar I’ve ever seen. He does that sort of stuff regularly, it’s just usually with random “haters” so we don’t hear about it, where this one is with a somewhat celebrity. He’s got issues, he can’t just ignore the social media nonsense like most stars do, he goes on and responds to trolls, such a pointless waste of time.
Do we need to remind him about saying that Lebron has too much BS going on around him?? Ever since he said that, he has been the one with too much BS going on around him. The ONLY difference is most of the BS going on around Lebron is not created by Lebron himself while much of the BS going on around KD was created or magnified directly by KD. Incidents with Lebron, D. Green and Rapaport, inability to blend with the Warriors and teaming with flat earthers, etc. etc. Who is the social cancer now KD?
yeah, durant/harden/irving is probably the least likeable star trio i've seen. trying to think of another... i really disliked malone/stockton/hornacek, but for different reasons. as a child i disliked bird/mchale/djohnson, but i think it was largely because C Bags/offensive body hair. those three bkn dudes just seem like folks you'd rather not associate with. one's flat out nuts and not in a fun way, another is the poster child for self-centered aloofness, and the third is like a weird basketball lucifer story (seriously, remember when kd was beloved?). poor joe harris.
^ PeePee, Jesus and KD. I like Kyrie (even though he's crazy) but can't stand the other two douchebags.
you mean KG? i liked him, even in boston. never much liked the other two (PP and ray were both super jealous of kobe in ways that were really unflattering to them, imo). plus, there's unique laker fan angle to that. i mean, who could like kd/harden/irving? i imagine even nets fans are like...well, i guess it's better than kerry kittles and nothing?
Yup, KG. Dude became a douch, tried to fight little euro guards I agree though, tough to root for the Nets team. Harden is a cancer, KD is a sensitive frontrunner and Kyrie is just crazy.
Don't forget DeAndre with the lock-in drama. And they just added 2 more unlikable guys in Griffin and Aldridge.
i hated houston with harden/dantoni/morey more. just odious. the nets are just sort of dumb and annoying. they'll likely win a title this year to a collective "meh" from fans and even the press. "oh, that's cute. you amassed a bunch of stars that are basically impossible to root for at this point and turned the concept of defense into a joke in a way that literally no one will be able to emulate with a high scoring style that is also somehow incredibly boring to watch and a payroll that looks like yankees baseball."
Still not buying the Nets. Defense matters, chemistry matters, and - apologies - cojones matter as well in the playoffs. They lack all three and will get exposed as every all offense regular season wonder in NBA's history has. If they remain healthy and the Lakers don't, they have a shot, but I wouldn't bet on them reaching the finals easily either. Right now they are winning all these games and everything is roses and sunshine and s**t, once they start losing some tight games this whole thing could explode in no time considering the "quality" of their leadership.
I think you guys should watch some of the Nets games... they make the Championship Dubs team look like amateurs. Never seen anything like that, pray to God we take'em out
yeah, i see this reasoning and mostly agree. i just think the talent gap is so huge here. could be an exception that proves the rule looking back, if you know what i mean.
Yes sure, it is a possibility considering all their talent. I just don't consider them clear favorites, not at all.
