You can’t take that risk with an Achilles injury look at what happened with the Warriors in the 2019 Finals they rushed KD back too early, he tore his Achilles, then left the franchise in the summer, and it’s set them back years potentially.

lol, you take it too serious buddy. obviously if the Lakers know he is at a risk for that, he shouldn't play but if he's healthy enough (80-90%), then he should be playing. Relax

Not true. Warriors are set back because of klay's injury. healthy Klay would've made a ton of difference for the warriors

I take this too seriously?! You’re willing to risk our players’ futures to make one playoffs. I’m not the one acting desperate to do anything to get us there, I was fine with passing on Lowry as soon as I heard about it and I’m all about being as careful as possible with our star in his prime in AD.

I meant it sarcastically when I said AD better be ready to play... you're making it seem like I'm saying AD should 100% go play right now. relax, dude. It was a harmless comment. and sorry to break the news to you but if the Lakers don't make the playoffs this season, we are wasting our best title opportunity that we will have for the next few years so obviously it's important for AD to be 100% but a lot of medical issues are educated guesses so you can't hold out on it forever. At some point, AD will not be 100% but is going to have to get out there.

I tend to agree with this. Achilles injuries aren't something you want to **** around with.

It’s absolutely true. Even if Klay is healthy there are not the favorite in the West, but with a healthy KD that team was unbeatable.

I’d rather us miss the playoffs this season and have AD healthy for the long term, which would give us a much better chance at bouncing back next season then trying to risk it all this year.

I’d be willing to bet some top level star would be willing to join AD here in LA when LeBron is done. Obviously that isn’t the same as LeBron and AD, but we have every chance of remaining on contention if the FO plays things right. On another note, LeBron should win MVP based on how awful this team is without him. I knew we would struggle, but damn, we aren’t even competing.

All Lebron teams are specifically constructed around him to maximize him. They always look lost when he's out.

You said it set them back years potentially. Klay+Curry+Draymond+Wiggins+Oubre+Wiseman would have been good enough to be a legit contender. They won a title without KD so they could definitely still contend without him. No one is talking about being favorites, lol. If KD left AD and LeBron, would that set us back years potentially? Being unbeatable has nothing to do with anything here.
