He tries on defense but he's got learning pains for sure.

That being said his emergence has taken this team to another level. Having three guys in the rotation who can attack the paint and collapse the defense basically means at all times you can have two playmakers. This has taken of the offensive woes for the most part that the Lakers have had all season even when AD was playing.

This dude’s arms are long af.

Anyone who knows basketball knows this kid is going to be a stud/already is. Once he gets his shooting/3pt shooting down. my goodness... seemingly, he’s a drive first guy for the most part, but has vision also. great ball handling and great at adjusting speeds. euro is too smooth, loves the right hand flip reverse every time... really the only knocks i have on him if i had to pick... defense and 3 pt shooting. love this kid!! what a draft pick in round 2.

Great eye GM LeBron. “20 minutes and he’d seen enough” Wherever the hell it was he first spotted him.

Speaking of LBJ, Talen “LeBroned” a couple guys AGAIN last night. No ..... he didn’t “flop” like shot with a rifle ... he trucked and sent them flying. Easily could have been offensive fouls but .... oh well.

I've noticed too that when he momentarily loses control of his handle doing something Phil Handy type special .... usually his dribbling hand is not far from being on "top" of the ball ready to pick up again. Not talking about getting stripped in traffic which happens too occasionally. To everyone. I totally think he has gone to school with Handy and LeBron and everyone else around him learning and learning. The more he plays the better he's going to get. Will be a BIG factor in the playoffs by the time he has had 2 more months of this.

    Our bench depth is sick!

Our bench is key to that #1 defense. They are coming in waves and don't let up.

Some way, some how, somewhere .... Talen needs to get his butt around hoops, wherever he is, on his own time, and start shooting thousands of shots. Kobe would. He wants to be great.

Who says no to starting Marc, Kyle, the Eagle, THT and Dennis and then riding the hot combinations appropriately with our bench patterns? Would love to see that in this most unexpected circumstance while it lasts. I don’t think Vogel will move KCP to the bench though.

Yeah, it's going to be Dennis/Eagle/Pope/Kuz or Kieff/Marc. Personally, I'd start Kuz, because you need some extra scoring, other than Dennis in the starting five. You bring Kieff with THT and Trez off the bench, and you again have a decent scoring balance.

Every trade rumor / speculation involving us I've read includes THT going out.

That would be really short sighted I think. Unless we are getting a bona fide star like Beal. You don’t trade a future star like THT for a role player.

If this happens, Cookie will turn into burnt toast instead of sweet chocolate chip cookie.

his situation is pretty clear: if you want him, offer us your superstar. otherwise, prepare to be arenas-ed.

According to Windy via his podcast

Teams are really after him. I'm really curious as to their offers. How the league values him.

i imagine quite highly. he's shown enough in limited minutes that they're all trying to get him in trade. why, when he's a FA? because arenas rights. which is why we won't move him unless someone blows us away. guessing houston's trying to pawn oladipo off on us. orlando might be seeing if we want gordon--that level of player is my guess. look for highly paid good players on bad teams. those teams want to get younger potential stars because their teams have already topped out as bad teams.
