I didn't know that word. Not even to use it.

still not sure I could spell it, and don't care to look it up. Living in the public eye is another level of accountability for some, and a get our of jail free card for others. Strange how that works.

are whites the only version of a skin color that bag on another version of "their Own"?

Like do Africans bag on American blacks? Do Puerto Ricans bag on Spaniards?

I'm in Asia right now, and I suppose there are stereotypes between Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, Filipino, Malaysian, and others. It's all just sad.

arbitrarily chosen groups bag on other arbitrarily chosen groups. you know, like those d****** C Bags fans.

it gets worse in any situation where resources are scarce and real or imagined competition is involved.

so yes, race is just an easy one because its markers are generally highly visible, but humans will denigrate over pretty much anything if they feel the need.

i do think it's interesting that leonard's fine is half of kobe's.

Not knowing what words mean is real.

I could call you a total mensch and most people would think that is a derogatory slur.
It is actually a compliment, it means a person of integrity and honor.

Try it with a tone of disgust, like "sh*t, you are a total mensch!"

The second word was b**ch though. And all said with mocking disdain. If it walks like a duck dept. seems to me. The call from his wife he had the look and reaction of knowing he was in trouble not that of someone unaware and blindsided with new information.

I didn't see all that, you are probably right. I know nothing about the guy, just saying that people say a lot of stupid BS without knowing what it means. All, that said, doesn't mean he did not know what it meant.

I’m not trying to be humorous when I say this, but how do you not see that dude on his bike? He’s 7 feet 6 inches tall, and on what is no doubt a custom bike he’s probably 10 feet tall... I read that it says he’s undergoing rehab, I hope he can regain as much as possible with that, terrible.

They are looking at their phone or just not paying attention. I ride my bike a couple thousand miles a year and I’m extremely careful but there’s always some idiot that doesn’t see me and cuts way too close. Thank god I’ve never been hit yet.

it's actually why i don't ride my bike to work--more than one person i know has gotten hit (or bumped, which is no picnic). i just can't entrust my life to others in that way. driving the car is dangerous enough, but at least i'm in a vehicle as heavy as theirs.

Exactly how I feel about riding. Everyone falls who rides and that by itself with all the road rash is bad enough but the risk of getting hit by a moving vehicle makes it a hard pass for me. If you live in a flat rural area where everyone can see you from distance. Maybe then. Of course, you can always just get a dirt bike and ride trails, which is a lot safer, if you aren't a risk taker and like to fly off of cliffs in the grand canyon.

I typically don't even open my driver door or even walk to that side of the car on busy streets any more, others too I guess, until traffic has passed. Do I want to trust others to be paying attention? NO.

i like to ride my bike, but i stick to paved trails that are meant for that purpose when possible, and i won't go into traffic for any long stretch (hence why i won't ride to work). it's too bad, as i'd enjoy it (it's only about six miles for me). i have friends that do, but...i've got kids.

One of my sons for awhile had one of those bikes you kind of lay back on and I thought that was not the safest of ideas on the street for multiple reasons.
