Those long arms makes him an absolute problem for defenders to guard once he goes under the basket. Nuggets had no answer for him so Malone had to call a timeout after THT kept burning the Nuggets.
While obviously the dude is a scorer, I'm impressed with his ability to keep the ball moving: Kuzma looks so much better now that he is paired with THT instead of Matthews
Yeah, and wait until he learns how to finish with his left hand sometimes!! He is always doing that reverse right handed layup from the left side of the basket. He should just slam it with his left hand.
I think he is getting his increased role already. He is going to get minutes as long as he learns how NOT to make stupid rookie mistakes. If he plays within himself with less errors, that dude may be starting by the end of the season.
The Caruso, THT, Kuz, LBJ & Harrell lineup might be my favorite to watch.. Their energy is insane..!!
Well, I will be the first one to agree to disagree. We are getting destroyed in the lane. Yeah, we are still a very good defensive team but literally every team is keying off on us in the lane. While I do think much of this will be negated in the playoffs simply because AD will play more at the 5 when we need him the most. But, we could sure use someone who can make teams think twice about jamming the lane on us. I do not think Gasol is useless, I think he can give us 10-20 minutes of solid play. I would like to see Montrez only need to give us around 15 minutes at the 5, and Gasol give us 15-20 and then have another defensive guy who can give us another 15. It would give us more maneuverability. That all being said, I don't think we should trade anyone. If we can pick someone up who is unsigned, who can play tough D but may not have a lot else to offer, that would work. Another big body, a block or two and 5 more fouls to give. I think it would improve us.
A different opinion!!?????!!! F!!!!!! Stop doing that!!!!! Pelosi will kick you out of the politburo!!!!!
That run in the 3rd where we caught up and took the lead, I think it was a 15-0 run, the way he got to the rim and scored repeatedly at will, forcing Malone to call a timeout, that was a thing of beauty. And moves like this, look at where he picks up his dribble, and he still scores AT the rim.
