15 or more points on 6 of the last 9. He's been really solid out there. He has really sure hands on the glass or on the catch from a teammate. We've had a lot of bobblers over the years, so it's nice to have a reliable big with strong mitts.
I actually love Trez' fit on this team. He really finds the put backs. He is good at finding the junk that AD and Lebron don't. Sure he has his weakness' but I think his positives really give us some life at times. Plus, I think he is fairly consistent.
He's doing what we brought him here to do. And he's doing it well. No problem here. We have the best record in the league and Trez has been a big part of that.
Gotta give him credit, his hands were very active defensively. He got 3 deflections just off pure energy and effort. Not really sure how he only got one shot. He usually gets at least 4 a night just by being in the right place at the right time.
He is a very productive 2nd string Center. I see that Vogel is trying to expand his role on the team but I can't count on this guy, other teams are scoring at will when he plays the defensive anchor. He plays 30 minutes and grabs only 5 rebs, come on
Nearly cost us the game by missing a box out on Theis. Otherwise, Harrell provides what is needed on offense. Had 3 blocks at least.
what? bos was getting to the rim at will with marc in, he blocked kemba n stole a Tatum pass, i thought he did well closing, that last attempt from bos shouldn't count against him, ad and his turn over cause he couldn't post up a 6'6" guy lead to that attempt
No spacing is a big issue for him in the finishing lineup. Against the opposing teams best defenses schemes and best effort, this was a problem and one reason the Lakers almost choked it away. Otherwise he had a very good game but he's the opposite of Caruso IMO, a guy who want to eat up minutes in the middle of the game but not finish
yes, i really think the middle of halves needs to be trez/schroder time vs. other team's bench. we haven't gone to that at all, really, but i still think we'll end up there at some point.
yeah, but they picked on him on defense a good bit. a couple of really easy shots that got them back into the game were squarely on him, imo.
Frustrating the offense bogs down at the end of games with him in there as well. I know Vogel practices patience and experimenting but at the end of games with the best defenders, the Lakers need to play with a 3 point threat. Great bench guy but don't need to repeat the same mistake the Clippers did with him last year. Don't want to come out harsh as well as he played really well but there is a reason his +/- was negative while his regular box score numbers were really good
last five minutes should be AD/lebron at the 4/5 against 90% of opponents. i'd probably round it out with caruso, kcp, and either kuz or schroder depending on matchups.
I'm interested to see if Harrell learned anything from his failures in the playoffs vs Jokic or if he's still a dud. Hope he watched some tape from the Lakers games and how Dwight physically roughed him up
Sucked in the first half, much much better in the second half. Liked that he started running the floor hard: if you're smaller might as well make the other guys work to keep up with you
His defense has gotten a lot better. For him to go out there and guard Jokic very well but also switch up on other players, he definitely wanted to prove the haters wrong that Jokic and the Nuggets destroyed him. I'm loving his hustle and energy as always but defensively, he's a lot better than most of us thought he could be and it will only get better... Lakers apparently don't practice much or at all. Only a matter of time before it clicks for this team and it takes them to a whole new level.
