Because of a weakening core due to age, there is less power coming from the legs and in effect, there should be more coming from the arms. Many are unable to figure out how to adjust to this, but I know of one person at a certain game who did--Kobe. Just watch his final game when he scored 60 against Utah, he was using more arms and he admittedly said so in an interview afterwards.

I think you vastly exhaggerate the weakening of the muscles. We are not talking senior citizens here, the drop in core strength can't possibly be that drastic in a span of 2 - 3 years for a 30 years old player.

    Don't know about Kobe...

Yes, it can't be that drastic for an NBA player like himself. Just saying any change in any of the variables of a shooting motion plus the inability to adjust can lead to eventual bad shooting. He had hip issues last year and I do think that lowered his apex by a few inches. Imagine that difference in inches to when Kobe detected that a rim was 1/4 inch lower than standard when quote: "...the Black Mamba was uncharacteristically bricking more of them than he was making."

yeah, at this level, the precision is incredible. i think green had to really work to develop his shot (he wasn't that good even after 4 years in college). that's hours and hours in the gym. respect. also means it's easier to lose it.

Nah, Beal heated the rims up with his career game. Westbrook shot 50% from 3 and Embiid was 3/4 from deep, too.

Damn that is brutal. I think it might be time for him to hang it up after this season, his stats aren’t really much different than last year, but he’s had some real awful games .

DG is lucky the arenas aren't packed. Philly fans are brutal. He can't even handle this bit of heckling that well.

He shoots like he is wearing those 3 rings on his shooting hand. Glad he is not our problem.

I like Green and think he helped us win a ring but I acknowledge that he should, at the very least, start saving his money.
