This guy is a straight up beast when playing with Schroeder and AD. He hustles like a madman and gets whatever he wants in the paint. Fits great.

He talks a lot but as long as he's producing its ok I guess. Great game tonight. Him/AD/Schroeder work out very nicely

Man, this guy has some weird hook shot/floater that is 100% automatic. It looks like a terrible shot but it's hitting all net. I'm loving the hustle. 30 minutes of pure energy out there. Name me a better player for $9.5 million... His weak point is his FT shooting and post defense. As a perimeter defender, he's pretty good. The problem is when he can't stay in front of 7 footers and can't do anything about it. Frank is going to have to try and hide Montrezl as much as possible against bigger centers.

Looking back at it, I think the Lakers may have made a mistake signing Marc instead of Dwight. Marc has the floor spacing and passing but he's so damn slow out there that it negates the positives that he brings. Dwight would have been able to guard bigger centers and still provide rebounding and high level defense. I didn't expect Marc to be that slow out there. Completely screws up the Lakers pace at times.

NBA would have to cancel the season if we had kept Dwight .

Some of you aren't funny , you want to win the Warriors way ..

72 games is a grind. It's still a lot of games and lot of traveling. Not to mention our best player is old (Granted he's in supreme shape). The entire Western Conference is a bloodbath the Lakers can use all the help they can get considering a short offseason.

Dwight is gone though. Just gotta move on.

Maybe Boban read Julius’s book, “Hands Up on Defense is Overrated”? Just as effective to stare really hard at the offensive player.

I am thrilled at the boundless hustle and dynamism Montrezl displays in the game. He is an untapped source of natural energy out there that could power a small town with his approach to the game.

He was giving Willie Cauley-Stein and Boban all they could handle and more.

His impact is like prime Kenneth "Manimal" Faried's (but further below the rim and with more ability to beat a man one on one close to the paint).
As exciting as Julius Randle but less of a selfish game and more likely to leave you hair in your head rather than in clumps in your fists as he can be utilised in a team game.

A player with the V8 motor is fun and elevates the players around him, leading by example.

Go get those double doubles Trez this season every game they will have your name on them!

He was a monster out there. Getting 20+ with that efficiency is impressive. Should be one of the biggest bargain contracts this year.

This was a great highlight too

Very impressed with the diving forward roll on the hardwood.

montrezL reminds me of AC Green with his constant motor and hustle.

Had a pair of face-up J's in the Dallas game. Harrell (like Caruso) gets efficient on those, it's over. Really good touch on his shots.

The accuracy of his little flip hook that looks like it's going to be a guaranteed miss is the one I'm most impressed with. Don't know how that goes in. Ever.

...sans the Jeri curl and teddy bear on his head. Plays closer to the rim than Green did.

I see more of an elite version of Faried/Turiaf.

Right? I guess the game has moved away from the hook shots but man, he's got a weird looking one that he seems so confident taking and it always goes in.
