    This may have been posted in this thread before, but while I did think this kid had skill, I hadn’t watched videos like this and seen just how crazy some of his dribbling skills are. He also gets to the rim at will, and has a very nice step back move, just needs to be more consistent on hitting the shot. I don’t know if this was mentioned earlier when it was asked why he went so low in the draft, but Pete/LFR said on the last Locked on Lakers that he had some off court issues. He didn’t elaborate, but he said something like the Lakers/Klutch were willing to take the chance and help him with whatever that was, so I dunno. Maybe it was a McDonald’s addiction

    Yeah, the off court issues probably involves eating, lots of it LOL. He fell to the 2nd round because of gluttony.

    What's crazy is I was watching a video where they talked about one of the reasons he dropped in the draft was his handle wasn't very tight. That means he worked his a** off on his handle...like he was probably walking around his home dribbling a basketball from the kitchen to the living room; sitting on the toilet pushing one out doing crossovers.

    Kid’s dope!

    As mentioned, he needs to work on his left hand finishing. He can drive to his left just fine, but he’ll finish with a right hand reverse rather than the left. Three clips of this in a row at the 3:05 mark of above video.

    I think i read an article on him while he was at ISU and it had more to do with conditioning and taking care of his body. He’s trimmed down and now needs to fill out with muscle to really utilize his frame. He seems to have picked up on being a professional pretty quickly.

    If THT ends up being Fred Van Fleet Part II, is anyone in the league going to win anything the next 3 years? Is that even fair? Hahah.

    Alex Caruso, not drafted, may end up on an all defensive team before his career is over. THT becoming the next FVF?

    Lakers are winning titles and getting lottery pick talent off the streets. If Lebron plays until he is 40, he will end up tying MJ in titles at the very least.

    If LeBron caught him slacking in workouts, THT would've been kicked out of the team. I'm not sure any other franchise would have held THT to the same standard. I'm interested in seeing if THT can be that good while playing with LeBron and AD in the same line-up. So far, he's had the green light to do whatever he wants out there but those opportunities aren't going to be as abundant in big games. It will be a huge test for him. I don't see his weight as that much of an issue, honestly. He's absolutely destroying wing players when he drives to the basket because they can't stop his momentum. His huge hands and wingspan makes him a much bigger player than his frame as well. He's got that Zion Williamson body with Andre Iguodala skills.
