I don't miss him at all, it's a total relief to have him out of LA and be somebody else's problem.

He's def a high risk/reward player. We all thought Melo's draft stock was in the tank after he turned pro early in Ukraine and playing in that Ball created league.

There's not a lot of sample size in his time in Australia, but I can see why people are willing to take him extremely high. He has attributes that Lonzo doesn't have. He's more aggressive than Lonzo in terms of offense (not afraid to attack the rim and a better finisher) and he's more athletic than Zo.

I think a veteran team with strong leadership (Warriors?) might be able to handle the circus better. This would allow him to have lower expectations and he'd have excellent mentors. Lonzo was expected with too much here coupled with the drama of living/playing for LA.

One year non guaranteed G-League. He has to not steal anything from teammates for first 3 months and keep a muzzle on his old man to get the money.

Nothing but respect for Lavar Ball. He raised 3 sons that all will or could make it to the NBA. We'll see with Liangelo and his non guaranteed contract, but still, that's one heck of an accomplishment. However you feel about his personality, he put his sons in position to be successful.

    Respect.

Yeah not nice to mock people's opinions but the thought of the word "respect" tied to that guy is hard to take with the rest of his crappy act. I'll just credit Tina's genes and her upbringing..

well, I did have waves of people on my side!! I am not really mocking him, just funnin' him a little. Juronimo is a fine human, got no issues with him that I know about. Just couldn't resist a little ribbing of Lavar.

I mean I used to feel sorry for Lonzo with the bulls eyes plural all over his body Lavar put on him with the s*** he continuously said in mainstream media. Then you see this. Equal opportunity. Well it will be interesting for sure with Lonzo and Melo how good they become. The certainly have the tools if they can handle the heat and the physicality and the pressure with their less than ideal by a long shot shooting mechanics. No "hold my beer" from Melo but last I looked too low in front of his face not taking advantage of his height and too much left hand involvement in the release.
