May be he can hit some sense into AD's soft a**. He can be infuriating at times... Goddammit... that posession with 50 seconds to go is just Other than that occasional softness he aaigth.
BUMP. Time to keep this on page one and make it happen .... bring Boogie back. It’s his destiny to win a ring with his big bro BFF AD. I was inspired to come find and rescue him by that little clip we got to see today. Didn’t look shabby what we saw and liked the intense work shown on upper body. As our training correspondent @Kenzo would point out I’m sure with his rehab work he hasn’t “forgotten his leg days” either. But once I got to this page I reread it. Everyone can see that he’s wanted here and wants to be here. No doubt in my mind he’s going to finally play as an L.A. Laker this season and we’ll see what 85% Demarcus Cousins has left same as we will with KD. With his strength he should be great against other strong big men, more so than Javale at the end of this season. And bring Dwight back. Hell of a front court with Anthony Davis in the mix. Leisurely minutes in strategic situations at the 5 spot for all 3 of them. Rob will get this done.
I think Boogie can effectively do the Big Man to Big Man dribble and pass, Dwight did in the Finals. And the underrated and soon to be illegal Boston roll
I cannot imagine that we are going to keep AD, Cousins, Howard and Javale. I bet if we sign Cousins, we are letting Javale go. I really liked Javale, he was a good addition for us. I think 3 centers on a team in a league where they are basically being phased out, is about as much as any team could handle. Unless of course, those guys can handle the ball and shoot 3's. And quick enough to guard small guys on the perimeter. LOL
yeah, i don't see how we keep all three. my money is on cousins/mcgee, though. dwight's going to get some decent-sized offers. he's got his ring; i think he wants a bigger role again.
If any of them were young, healthy and without red flags then I'd agree. I think we need the three headed monster. Rob has shown he's not afraid to zag when others are zigging. It's going to have to be a hell of a pitch from Rob and Frank. But I think inserting them in rotational bursts is the best way to preserve them and save them from themselves. Just depends on how much they value role/$ vs. 'ships at this point.
I hope it is Howard and Cousins. Howard is so much more of a defensive presence for us and Cousins will spread the floor better than Javale or Howard.
Howard will fetch a lot of interest because teams have seen his growth as a person in terms of understanding his role. But he's likely only going to get offers from serious contenders such as the Warriors, C Bags, Mavericks, and teams that need defensive toughness. And how positive are we that Dwight will be the same Dwight for another team? Playing with Bron, Dwight had no seniority. Is he going to show that same level of respect for players who he was once better than and are younger than him? Wherever he goes, I hope he finds the right fit for him. I guess the only problem with all of this is if we do have Javale opting in, we can go for Cousins, Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka, Tristan Thompson, or Nerlins Noel. Ibaka would likely be too expensive but I think everyone else is in play. My only issue with Cousins is if he gets injured again, I don't want to see AD play center. We're going to need a back-up C in case.
He lost out on a payday because of them, i believe. I've already seen media speculation connecting TT to us, if we lose any of our size. One guy I'm watching is Robin Lopez. If the Bucks are serious about adding talent to make the Greek Freak happy, he's one of the first ones they'll need to include to make salaries work. So if they grab CP3 for instance, they would buyout Lopez cause he doesn't fit in with their rebuild on his expiring deal. He'd be a great depth C for us.
that's basically run blocking. can't imagine the league will allow its widespread use, as strong ballhandler could basically decimate any defense.
