I find it enjoyable that two of the guys who played a role in our last (terrible) decade are helping us to win a chip.

Dwight was so much bad PR for the Lakers, and any other free agent thinking of coming, in the way he acted, and how he portrayed the franchise including Kobe (RIP).

Bron, although in the East, took over as the King and changed the landscape of the entire NBA. So much so that he also inadvertently created an even stronger dynasty to beat him (Warriors).

I am glad Dwight and Bron are paying us back now. Plus I have some schadenfreude to D'Antoni not winning a ring :)

The only way he's not a Laker next year is if he suddenly decides to retire and spend time with his kids and live at his GA property full time.

He's almost 35, in his limited role I think he has another 2 good years in him as long as the back doesn't start acting up again.

I really don't think the money matters to him at this point. He turned down a shoe deal so he can keep wearing Kobe kicks, he's donating his money from the bubble to the Breathe Again foundation. He's said in multiple interviews during the season how it wasn't about the money.

I suggest a two year, guaranteed minimum deal. That would be for around $2.5m per. And that's knowing he'll probably get offers 3x that. It's about hardware, legacy, and strengthening his HOF resume.

Time to whip these out again. We must have them lying around somewhere right?

I don't see Javale opting out and it seems that Cousins would be interested in re-signing with the Lakers. I hope it doesn't come down to a Cousins vs Howard scenario because I do think Cousins can play PF alongside Javale or Dwight if needed and then play center with AD so we can get some more spacing.

Given age, durability, and injury history with them all, I think we need all three next season. Not even trying to be greedy.

Totally agree! I hope we keep them all given their injury histories. The three headed monster at center with Cousins getting some backup 4 time would be ideal!

If they all are committed to the same team-oriented mindset where they understand there may be certain matchups where they’re just not viable, I would love to have Dwight, Javale, AND Cousins. They each offer a different look and that flexibility would make us very dangerous.

I love the potential looks with
    McGee/Dwight
    AD/Boogie/Morris

Those 4 would just have to understand that they're not going to play 82 games (if there are 82 next year). They're not going to average 20 minutes a game. Buying in, being the best teammate and cheerleader for one another is best for each of them and for extending/maximizing their career.

The different looks and rotations Vogel would have at his disposal would be next level. Having big options in a small league, zigging when most teams have zagged is why we're 3 games from a 'ship. I lean into that if I'm Rob.

Got off to a much better start. Very engaged offensively in the 1st. Nothing offensively after that, but brought the energy throughout.

He plays less than 20 minutes and is an absolute game changer.

I do not think anyone in the history of wrestling got a pop like the Ultimate Warrior at it's peak. People went NUTS for that guy.

Its really a shame that Warrior couldn't just keep it together. Could have gone down as the greatest ever.

Sometimes the thing that makes you great also ruins you. He wasn't a good wrestler so being the best would have been hard. Bret Hart was the total package when it comes to pop and wrestling skills.

Yeah I’m digging how his and AD’s ‘do(s) have those neat little curly braid thingys falling over their headbands. No more lobster hair.
