Kuz was ok. Made some good plays for others, played some decent D and knocked down a big 3. Still waiting for a break out game from Kuz.
Possibly might not happen since he does not get the volume opps like before. Part of the committee as of now. Concentrate on D and the boards. Has a knack for leaking ahead for passes for scores.
I feel Kuzma is underrated: he hasn't become what a lot of people were looking for (i.e. 3rd scorer) but he's become a very good defender both 1v1 and on rotational defense. He's not a black hole anymore (two nice passes last night for open looks?). Folks always seem to underrate the Lakers roleplayers: it's a lot more headline writing when a guy like Herro goes off scoring but I'm very impressed with Caruso, KCP, and Kuzma on how hard and smart they rotate on defense.
No wonder she left him. That was his (hopefully not still ongoing) dressing like a complete dork and blond hair period. Photo on left during their selfie taking action ... exhibit A.
No one underrates the role players. They just talk about how they need to make shots because most of them don't actually watch the games. They don't know s*** about the team other than what they see or hear with AD and Lebron.
Ignorance is bliss. It certainly applies to the basketball media, and the crap people consume from them.
The petition that couldn't shoot strait? Maybe they meant Danny Green .... and where the hell did this start? https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/fans-petition-kyle-kuzma-not-185241624.html
I don't get all the Kuz haters...he's turned into a good defender, can score in spurts and is still young. I'm sure being around Bron and AD he's trying to figure out how to live up to their standards. To me this just seems like non-Lakers fans hating and a few frustrated Lakers fans jumping in because why not. Let's support this dude and get a championship...just because he isn't consistently the #3 guy doesn't mean he isn't helping us win. p.s. Looks like someone named Don Stinson started the petition but somehow I doubt that is his real name. His real name is probably Steve Ballmer....
Too unpredictable, too inconsistent. That's not what an NBA championship team needs. I like Kuzma but I don't think he fits our team. He's not a good catch-and-shoot player but with his own team, he should be an 18-20 PPG player. I'd like to keep him if possible but if we can use him as a trade asset of any sort with Danny Green, it's got to be done. We need consistent players if we want to compete next season. If we thought this season was tough, wait until next season when the Warriors/Nets join the party.
I thought Kuzma played well he just didn't play enough. That's kind of been the story all year...and when we got Morris, I knew he was going to be in there with AD/LeBron closing lineups versus Kuzma. Just more experience and more grit...Kuzma can get there. Or maybe he won't...maybe he's just a role player and not a star and that's fine. Just means hes' going to get paid a lot less. I fully expect us to dump Kuzma with Green.
If the Lakers get a 3rd star, yes. However Kuzma is going into a contract year, he may improve. We will have to wait and see..
