Porzingis is huge for them. I don't expect them to eliminate the Clips this year (but man how sweet would that be?), but if they can stay healthy, Doncic and Kristaps may very well be the best duo in the NBA for years to come. I love both of their games.
Dallas is one good player away from being a legitimate contender. Not a superstar, just a very good player who can create his own shot and fit with the offense. I like their team and Luka is always worth watching.
I haven't been watching games, but this makes me very happy. I see Westbrook hasn't played, but cry me a river. it's just so beautiful to see karma doing it's thing. Pretend you're hurt all the time with your flopping? How about some real hurt at the worst possible time?
if they did: "see, great franchises know the value of a HOF coach and how to close a deal!" if they didn't: "see, he'd rather wait and take the same deal from a better-run organization!" truth: he's an average coach at best and a downgrade from the guy they fired.
Don't like to praise C Bags players but Tatum is having a great playoffs. His numbers are looking as good as AD's or Jokic's (Brown looks good as well). Freakin Ball family played us
i didn't like taking ball at 2, but it wasn't because i thought we were missing out on tatum. i thought we could have traded down or out and been better off. but tatum has been better than i expected (i'm still not sold on him as a superstar, feel like the press just really wants one in boston).
I'm actually kind of glad for Billy Donovan and the Bulls. I think it's a good pairing and wish them luck.
Agree, but they definitely could've done worse than Donovan. They have a lot of young guys that they hope the college coach in him can reach and get through to. Could be their 2nd best coach since Phil.
thibodeau was great there. they overachieved, and then he flamed out/league outgrew his philosophy. hard to picture donovan beating that, though. but you're right on the young player angle. works with stevenson in boston.
