I would counter that by saying if he hit one of those open jumpers, we're probably in a better position at the end of the game.

He needs to hit those shots...it's vital to our championship aspirations.

He also missed 3 free throws.

    Better 2nd half, though.

Danny Green needs to hit those shots. He is the one making 15 million and had two titles. Caruso is a walk on who has overachieved already in his career.

Sure, but their leaving Caruso open; and he's taking the correct shots, he just needs to hit them.

Contracts and draft positions don't matter anymore. He's played himself into being a legit 4th quarter option for a title contender.
Some players don't live up to their billing but are still important for a title team (Kevin Love hmm) and others go for it (Avery Johnson comes to mind).
He does a lot of things well and he's shown in the past that he's got a decent jumper so I think it's at this point it's ok to get on him to hit those shots. Doesn't mean he won't do everything else but in the modern NBA that jumper is the key

That breakup of the pass and controlled throw in while going out of bands play was exceptional. Killer play from Caruso down the stretch. I am so confident in having this guy in at critical moments.

There was a play in the middle of the fourth quarter where Caruso essentially just drove all the way and got an uncontested layup to put us up by 9. I got hyped and felt like that was going to be the dagger, but then the Clips clawed back into it.

I blame the fake audience noise! It’s got to be more intelligent. Because although Caruso’s play was just a simple layup, if that were to happen in Staples, the crowd would have gone insane and fueled more actual momentum.

Just messing around mostly, great game by Caruso and overall I liked the way NBA presented the game in these circumstances. I will miss the uniquely electric energy he could spark in our crowd though.

Same here...it's different without our fans at full throat at home (and other arenas) plus silencing opposing crowds.

The squad can focus at the task at hand without checking out who's in the stands or responding to overplayed chants. I don't miss the Day-O bit which I find annoying (no offense to Harry Belafonte). OK, I wouldn't mind Nah Nah Nah, Hey Hey Goodbye doe when an opposing star player fouls out or when we eliminate an opponent.

One more thing...no more Carnival Barkers besides Tanter posing as emcees introducing other teams.

On Caruso...he starts hitting his J, look out! First game jitters?

Honestly I think he played GREAT defense on Lillard and McCollum. Yeah they got the best of him on multiple occasions, but they’re stars. That’s going to happen. Like I don’t think Bradley would have been able to do much better in containing them (of course, it would have been great to have both of them on the perimeter together).

Yeah, some really fine defensive stretches from AC out there. He needs to lay off the three ball if it isn't falling though.

D looked really good against their guards. But he has to find a way to be a scoring threat from somewhere on the court.

Maybe if they leave him alone under the basket... he might be able to shoot 40%.

Good D but we still need some offense with Bradley+Rondo out. Have we seen much of Bron+Caruso since the bubble started? I feel like a line-up of:

    Bron
    AD
    Caruso
    Kuzma
    KCP

    would absolutely smoke the Blazers.

He doesn't need to hit a shot to be a difference maker.

And he’s getting even better one on one possibly it seems to me. Unless just my eagle colored glasses.
