Dellavedova needs to be suspended. Like Doc said, this is the third time he's done a player dirty now in the playoffs. This guy is now my least favorite player - even surpassing Dwight Coward. This guy sucks.
I just hope Dellavedova doesn't take out Curry, Klay, Green, or any other key Warriors this way in the Finals. I want to see GS destroy Cleveland, but I have a feeling refs will keep it close. Then again LeBron has no Bosh, no Wade, and especially no Ray Allen with him this time.
The Hawks need a guy like Scott to smash the hell out of Dellavadova. That m*********** needs to a concussion. I swear if that was my team I'd absolutely wreck that a******. This is the THIRD guy he's caused a serious injury to in the playoffs. Korver needs SURGERY. This is Game 4 and you're about to get swept. Send a damn message. Weak *** NBA as it is right now... I can't believe a piece of **** like that is still playing on the floor. There's no way he'd try that in the old days. He'd get the **** beat out of him.
If he tried that on a team with Oakley on it, kid would be in the hospital. If he tried it against the Pacers, the Davis and Davis would hit him on every single screen...he'd probably be bleeding from his head.
Mother*****. I'm 6'0, 200lbs and i would take him out with one good screen (no need to punch a POS like that). I can't believe he's still out there playing. This crap would not fly, even Rick Fox would not tolerate this BS.
Anna Horford (Al Horford's sister) has been calling out the NBA's blatant favoritism. Take a look at her twitter page: https://twitter.com/annahorford Here are some snippets.
This is a different level. This is flopping or whining or holding someone or intentionally fouling them to slow the game down. This is a dude trying to seriously injury guys. For Kyle Korver and Al Horford this isn't just a game, this is their livelihood. Without basketball they aren't providing for their wife and kids (well obviously they'd get work, but that's not the mindset they have). This is their job. If someone came into your office and found a way to take you away from your job, wouldn't you do something about it? I don't understand how this guy is still playing. Not just from the NBA who obviously should have suspended him the rest of the playoffs, but from the players. Someone needs to level this guy. He needs to be Scola'd.
I still remember Fisher holding his head on that play as if to say, "Did you see him try to bite me?"
It's disgusting what this guy is doing and even more disgusting when the NBA turns a blind eye. And its even worse when the media are all for it, saying "its just his rugby nature coming out", really? This is basketball, not rugby. I would love for it if somebody does to him what Fish did to Scola but knowing the NBA whoever does it is going to get tossed, fined and suspended half the season. If he pulls this kind of thing against the Warriors its going to turn into a s*** show, Warriors are a likable team right now and everyone will be rooting for them.
Too bad you can't sign 10 day contracts in the playoffs. If I'm Atlanta or GS, I'd bring in Ron Ron (or any big from the 90s) to take this guy out. Offer to pay his fine too, wouldn't be a bad pay day to a guy for not even 60 seconds of work.
It baffles my mind how the media continues to ignore context. Yes, LeBron is going to the finals 5 years in a row or whatever. Yes, that is impressive, but it is in no way some "legendary" feat. The competition has been downright laughable. Seriously, of the 15 players on the all-nba teams, only 3 were from the East. Of the 3, 2 were from the Cavs. The 3rd was Pau Gasol, who got injured in the playoffs and probably didn't even deserve to be on the team. LeBron's jumper has been broken this entire run. He's turning the ball over nearly 4 times per game. His performance has been far below what we're normally used to seeing from him. Somehow, despite this, he continues to rise up in the all-time rankings in the media's eyes and he is garnering comparisons to Jordan. I would rather hear about a run that is actually legendary. Curry went from averaging 23.8 ppg in the regular season to 29.4 ppg in the playoffs. He broke the previous 3pt record in 9 less games. He's doing it against tough competition.
Sure. I remember Sasha "The Machine" Vujacic saying that he could average 25ppg. He just needed to shoot the ball more.
