I seriously think people should be mocking him and ripping him on line for his "seemingly" too distracted with outside things and being some weird fashion clown with the hair and dressing like this ..... than getting his s*** together as a solid, consistently impactful basketball player on a squad that desperately needs it if we're to win a ring. Just hammer his vegan a**. Reminds so much of DLO in his L.A. days and the stupid Ball family s*** that Lonzo was always involved in. For real. Not kidding. He needs to hear it hard on social media.
There were reports that they were listening to last minute deadline deals for both DD and LA, so that's plausible. If possible, he'd be a great 3rd fiddle to those too.
Agree. For better or worse, he’s ours until the end of the season now. Would love to see him gain some consistency and string together 3 or 4 solid performances in a row.
Like I was saying... Trade Kuzma and Green for Morris (who has an expiring contract) and that free us up with an extra $20 million to spend next season regardless if we win or not. And yes, not winning this season is a failure. AD and Bron are regarded as two top five players in the NBA. It is always a failure if you can't win with two top five players on your roster.
What's your point? It was reported Rob offered Kuz and Green. They wanted a bigger package including pick and Boogie instead. Boogie was not going to be tossed in as trade filler.
Shows some glimpses every now and then...has had some positive outings lately even though big scoring nights remain a rarity. Shows hustle moments followed by absolute indifference during some games. Some guy on the Suns shot a 3 on him in the 4th and you literally saw Kuzma going through the motion and getting his hand up lethargically like I defended him. That's not acceptable for a guy that played 19 minutes and is 24 years old. You gotta want it more than others. Kuzma is averaging 24 mpg. It is perfectly reasonable to expect him to hustle during his playing time. Those 24 minutes should be intense. Rather his taste of fashion is highly intense.
Kuz is going to spend the rest of the season under a microscope. I hope he spends the all star break finding himself.
I'm seeing something different from Kuz and I like it. These past couple games since the deadline he's been playing a much more balanced game. He's spending more of his energy trying to make the extra pass, do the right thing and then if there aren't other good options he takes the look himself with a pretty high percentage. Case in point last night he was 4 of 5 shooting, with 8 boards, 4 assists, 2 blocks and a steal in just 20 minutes. He is getting into a better groove for what the team wants and needs from him other than just scoring off the bench. I see some development and a little more maturity creeping in. Can he do this against better competition? We'll see how he plays in Denver.
Do like his effort on the boards: that is noticeably better as the season progressed. That will mitigate his lack of strength on defense if he can get a few more possessions to go the Lakers
