Do you really want to post on a site where everyone just agrees with you?

If the Queen had balls she'd be King.

Umm did you just not watch the Cavs game? A good inside/out PF in Kevin Love gave the Lakers a hell of a time and gave Kuzma a hard time. Credit to him that he otherwise played a decent floor game and again shows improvement on defense but Kuzma's role on a title team will be to complement a guy like AD not replace him

Surprised we're not in here with the BI and Ball hot takes instead of the Dwight outtakes. Oh wait no I'm not NO won with BI and while Ball sucked.

Your agenda is that AD is the future and was worth every asset

My agenda is that I would have preferred to keep some assets, signed a different elite agent that cost less, or signed AD next season.

When we don't have a huge decline in play with his absence then it tends to bolster my theory that alternative scenarios might have worked as well.

it still comes right back to the same thing you always come back to: you wish we had kept the kids over AD. AD > the kids all day, every day. I still have my Ingram jersey and was sad to see Zo go as well, but this isn't a debate and it never was.

This is the Kuz thread. Please stop bringing the same tired argument to every thread.

My point is if you made Kuzma the focal point he'd put up good numbers... maybe not 27... but maybe 23 or 25. He's redundant here so he's struggling.

You can laugh at my support of the young kids, but that team is starting to gel and our assets are a good part of the reason why.

Yes we know. We got it after the last 2 months of listening to you. How in **** was it relevant to Dwight Howard this morning who is only here because Boogie got hurt?

The common thought that all of us have is that we love basketball. That's going to be the same tired argument in every thread as well.

I kept on topic by pointing out that AD was stifling Kuzma's production. Obviously he should be because he's the better player.

I merely proposed that the two players make up most of the deficiency in his absence.

Stop acting like none of us loved the best of the kids. You're not some champion in that respect. We still wish them well and tremendous careers and will enjoy watching them play when we can. Doofus.

Did you wail and moan the whole time about Lebron coming here too when all events were looking like that? Some of us did. But once he got here he presented an opportunity in his first contract to possibly win one or two rings. NOW. Adding AD upped that exponentially NOW in that first contract. The players around him this year make losing the kids for that opportunity not quite so bad. Most of us LOVE watching THIS team play.

I think most posters are looking for a title: you post like your more interested in individual numbers and breaking .500

I was told repeatedly that AD is the reason for our renaissance and from the looks of things it seems like a multiple of factors are the reason and AD is only a part of them.
To use a video game analogy... I think I post like I'm in franchise mode while others post like they are in season mode.

I would have been more convinced about what you all have been telling me if we fell off a cliff in AD's absence.

Instead I feel like my theory makes more sense to me than ever.

What!!?? And why is our franchise roster going to fall off of a cliff NEXT YEAR when we are back at the upper echelon of teams looking for a ring 2 years in a row? While you worry about what Lebron does 2 years from after THIS season.

Subpar game from Kuz - but he was active and aggressive once agian - just missed shots that he usually would make.

I posted recently that Rob did a good job of filling out the roster.

I posted today that LBJ can last for years if he plays more like Magic.

I still believe the team can do well long term if we don't sign LBJ to an extension when he begins to decline. That can happen next year... or it can happen in five. The key is to make sure we don't tie up Chris Paul like salary if he starts to go significantly downhill. But I also see scenarios where he can play effectively until 40.

I have much more faith in Rob than I did in Magic.

However, one can still see a good path with this roster... while also seeing a good or better path with the kids.

    They aren't mutually exclusive positions.

Broken record. We got it. It was jumping the shark again to bring it up in Kuzma's thread.

In regard to the bolded, the inherent arrogance of that statement is astounding. You're in franchise and us peasants can only comprehend season mode? In reality, we're in Franchise mode with a team that's ready to compete now. You'd rather bail on winning now in hopes of building something 5 years from now. It's bad business and bad basketball ideas. No ifs and or buts.

Every thing on a sports site sounds like a broken record.

You like to say how wonderful the trade is.

I like to beg to differ.

They are both monotonous except one position you happen to agree with.

I bet that I say my repetitive position in just as many innovative ways as you say yours.
