This actually boosts my argument about Kuz v. Bogdan. Obviously, it's a tiny sample size but with Kuz playing 23 minutes a game he's scoring at the exact same rate and percentage overall as Bogdan. They are completely equal. But Bogdan plays 28 minutes a game on the Kings. With Kuz at similar minutes he's at 23.5 points, 47.5% overall, 41.5% on threes vs. Bogdan's 14.5 points, 42.5% overall and 38% on threes. Bogdan is no upgrade, I'm sorry. Bogdan is a better ball handler of course as he's a shooting guard, but Kuz is the better rebounder with his size as a forward. Those cancel out. And we're seeing improved ball handling and passing from Kuz now as mentioned here with his regular setups for KCP and Dwight. At the price point and with us having Kuz's rookie contract he's the bargain third scorer we need here. Plus he's a Laker. I don't want to just trade him away. He's got a lot of heart. How he would mesh with AD in the future, I don't know and I'm not necessarily convinced he would as per JSM's critique. But let's get to that when we get to that. In the meantime, Vogel and the staff either need to figure out how to play Cook and Daniels more effectively and take away some of Rondo's minutes or we need to trade them for Augustin or we need to get Collison. I'd rather just pick up Collison. Would we have to drop one of the other guys? Quick aside too, Kuz's career high scoring game is 41. Bogdanovic? 31. Also, Bogdanovic is 27 and Kuz is 24.
I'd be more than happy to keep Kuz if he can produce; going forward post-LeBron, and I'm looking at a superstar in Davis, a very nice player in Kuz, and THT, I'm pretty happy. Let's figure out a way to keep Caruso; oh, and we have our first this summer, too. I think we'll be okay.
And I just saw this thought on LG where I randomly read. Yeah, if only politics were not involved. But right now what a great opportunity to "try" it if Rondo's finger is messed up a bit. You have this great contingency option hidden in plain sight. Why would you not at some point? Why not now? To me ... he just keeps getting better at everything the more he plays. All_Star_Laker Before we go out and trade for a ball handler that can defend and hit open shots, can we at least try Caruso in the starting lineup with heavy minutes? _________________
I've heard that - anything is possible. On a sidenote, I was by his old high school. Come home, Beard... .
If he quit flopping like LeBron quit flopping, then I could work with that. Still prefer Giannis (Like it’s a real option lol) that beard tho :Vogelheaving: It’s so bad, it could cause a brother to break a New Year’s resolution
May want to try a few games when AD and Lebron are back and put him as a starter with lebron at SG. He maybe just a guy who needs several touches to get going versus a Microwave off the bench type
