Props for a great game from Rondo today. We still need Collison too though.

12 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists through the 1st Q... Rondo set the tone for the game. No doubt about that. If he played that way since the start, we wouldn't be looking for Collison.

Came out and led when we needed a leader in the first quarter. Set the tone, co-lead carrying the scoring burden. Inspired and directed his teammates as the coach/captain on the court, and made Christo Paul look CP small. Put it in the bag marked playoff Rondo with the buzzer beater he got against the C Bags. Well done, we need to see more of the Raging Rondo playing with playoff fire (and pure undistilled hatred of Chris Paul) Rondo plays best angry, he is like a Sith Lord (must have been all that time in the evil empire).

I’m disappointed he didn’t punch CP3, but stepping up his game for a night to beat him is almost as good.

Can't stay healthy each time he played with pace ( and well) for a few games .

Maybe this is the reason he's dribbling and holding the ball for so long in the majority of his tenure here

The guy has big hands and that allows him to control the ball making his arm like a weapon. A hammer. He wings that ball around a lot like when he does scoop shots. Maybe his hand gets more contact because of it.

When Vogel was talking about Rajon after the game he said that they had asked him to "play with more pace". He sure did that especially early on and with his great individual scoring and breaking down the defense. To play like that with his frame and age is pretty physical. Hope no significant injuries this season and the little probably inevitable ones (should) give Caruso more minutes.

I said that a few pages ago. Rondo's pace was so bad that he ended up just chucking ISO shots because he's running the clown down too much. The rest of the team just stands there and watches whereas the team really needs to start moving the ball. It shouldn't have to be just Rondo strictly running the offense. I'd like to see Cook and Daniels also get a chance to move the ball around with Rondo in the same lineup. Thinking about this reminds me of how much we could use Lonzo Ball at times.

That was the closest offensively to Boston or playoff Rondo that we've seen since he's been a Laker.

Did a great job setting the stage in the first half and came out the gates like a man on a mission that first quarter.

I'd love to see him in a series against Christina Paul.

can we trade rondo to the clippers and rockets, engineer turmoil, then get him back for the playoffs?

    feel like that's a title.

Can we get Jrue Holiday in the meantime? Then roll out a Rondo Jrue Lebron AD Dwight lineup for the playoffs?

Surrounding LeBron/AD with 3 non-shooters seems like a great idea...
