Man, that is so true. He's actually useful if you know how to play him. This is doing him and the whole team a disservice.

Agree, Vogel needs to do better with Rondo than Luke did with Lonzo. Totally screwed him up by not playing him 40-48 minutes a game like Lavar trained him for.

Ehem, no one is pointing out the reason why Rondo is truly struggling. His game is the same but the difference is his three ball is not working. That is why I said that if Rondo could knock down his threes, he'd still be a top point guard. The problem is when Rondo isn't knocking down his threes and he's playing alongside LeBron, it becomes blatantly obvious how awful Rondo can be. He's much better running the show alongside Caruso+KCP+Kuzma+AD and himself because he has Caruso who can handle the ball, AD who can catch those spin-and-lob passes, KCP who has shown that he is capable of scoring in multiple ways, and Kuzma who loves those catch-and-shoot threes. Alongside LeBron, it looked great when he was knocking those threes down at a 48% rate but now he's down to sub 40% and 4-20 the past 6 games and everyone is shocked.

    Darren Collison can't come sooner.

Rondo unfortunately seems to kill the leads/give the other teams confidence when he comes on.

He's losing swag daily right now. I know I'm a broken record but with Caruso out I think we should be playing Cook some of Rondo's minutes. I really do.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of how Vogel has contracted the rotation and is predictable in how he rotates the team.

I do think giving everyone a chance to play is better and allows for less wear and tear in the long run.

Once again, Rondo has not looked the same since his injury. He's shot 20% from three since his injury and has been utterly useless offensively and defensively. He's become clumsy with the ball and dribbles the air out of it only to drive to the paint and throw up a layup that has no chance of going in. Why is he still getting any minutes? Every team watches film... I know for a fact that they are seeing how awful he is so what is the issue here in which Cook gets sidelined and Rondo gets all the minutes? Frank Vogel is religiously rewarding Rondo when it should be the opposite. We are a championship contender. You fight for your minutes - not get them based on merit. I respect Rondo as a player but he should have enough respect for himself and any team he is on to retire and possibly seek an assistant coaching role. He has no energy, bounce, and seems to have lost his passion out there. I remember he used to get into the player's faces and was a pest. Where is that type of energy and passion? Gone.

On the other hand, just like Dwight saved us when we lost Cousins, Collison too can save us. I'll promise not to act like my house is an abandoned home when they ring my bell next time if Collison signs with us... Heck, I'll even ring some bells myself and praise about Jehovah Witness. I don't care! Just get rid of Rondo and give us Collison. It's embarrassing. I thought a player of Rondo's intellect and BBIQ would be serviceable even with his old age but man, this dude just does not have it anymore.

Going from Rondo to Collison would be like we went from D-Fish to Sessions in 2012.

We would get a decent PG and feel like we got Magic

CP3 should just accept a buyout and sign with the Lakers. Get three rings with the Lakers and then retire a legend...

They aren’t interested in buying him out, and he makes about $40 million a year. The buyout would be massive and OKC would rather have him playing like this and going to the playoffs than buying him out.

but having him and Rondo on the same team would be fantastic.

Ok back to hating on this guy. Sloppy turnovers, layups that never go in and defense that doesn’t have any D in it because he can’t get past A, B,C..Please give someone else a shot. We are losing leads constantly when this guy comes in.
