Not to derail the thread but one difference between Kuzma on this team versus some folks who've been traded away is that if your shot isn't falling the team isn't going to necessarily be worried about it. They aren't going to keep feeding you and they're not going to necessarily run plays for you. Particularly if they don't need because some other dude is hot (say KCP) or you have Lebron/AD to fall back onto. For the Lakers though even with 0fer if he still has gravity (which he still does), plays average or better D, and is willing to make the right play, it won't matter. The right play is interesting as if your the star you may want to more selfish but not on this team where everyone tries to move the ball
the issue is that kuz--in theory--can play without the ball, whereas two guys we had before (jules and BI) really don't do well without it. obviously, at least one, if not both of those players is better in a vacuum. but we have lebron and AD. everybody else needs to be able to play without a lot of ball domination. again, in theory, kuz can be that guy. and i feel we can get another shot creator in FA or via trade next year if need be.
One day months from now I will call a certain someone's posts nonsense and I'll bet not only does my post not get ignored but that I'll get a warning as well. And to keep this on topic. Kuzma needs to keep his head in the game and stop worrying about what his hair looks like.
if you're planning on calling out a specific poster months in advance, you probably deserve the warning.
No one will ever get a warning for calling a post nonsense: 5. Personal Attacks- Members may not make personal attacks against another member. A personal attack consists of talking about another member rather than that member’s post or an idea they presented, in an attempt to ridicule them personally. Note: This is not an invitation to attempt to find and skirt the edges of this rule. It simply means argue against the contents of posts, not the poster's character. Check out the Rules page for the complete list.
What this post tells me is that you’re not hearing what I’m saying. You’re looking to go on the defensive or the attack, prepping in advance for confrontation when that need not be the case. You’re also saying you have no faith in the staff to handle a matter here appropriately by already saying we will handle it wrong ahead of time. So I don’t know exactly what I’m supposed to say or do here to win with you, but again, I’m not out to get you, and neither is any other staff. Follow the rules and discuss in a civil manner here to the best of your ability and things will be fine. People can disagree, they will disagree, you seem to like to take devil’s advocate positions to spark such discussions, so it shouldn’t really surprise you when that’s what you get. But if you feel you are being attacked at any time, point it out to staff by PM or by reporting a specific post and it will be looked into, if you automatically go into victim mode and say people are just trying to get you out of here it only makes the situation more difficult to deal with. That’s all. And yeah, Kuz is way too into his hair.
You suggested the option that I should ignore it if someone calls my theories nonsense. I suggested that were I to call someone's posts nonsense that I would be disciplined. The founder of the board then tells me calling someone's posts nonsense is fair game as long as I don't insult the person, only their thoughts. I liked the post in understanding. I'm good with those conditions if I can reply back and defend myself. Those are rules I can live with. I hope Kuzma wins player of the week.
I like how you manage to put one line in about Kuzma to stay on topic The rest of this will all soon be a distant memory, and you’ll get the feel of the glow of the forum without issue. But dammit, our center rotation is just fine also not a fan of Kuzma’s hair change fascination
Maybe he’s making a movie or something. Puma promo? Ha, nah. When I see constant appearance changes I’m always thinking a distraction is going on in that person’s life. I felt it with dlo, Clarkson, and lonzo. I didn’t feel that way with Hart and Randle, and with Kuz initially because he was a little older and showed some commitment to want to be his best. But this years has me wondering about the guy more than ever. Hopes he gets it cleared up before Rob finds a reason to trade him.
And check out this stupid thing he's been wearing on top of his weird hair. C'mon Kyle focus on Basketball.
