He's got a quick release on his jumper and his size helps as well. Should be a great fit in the offense.

Would love to add Covington but ideal would be to pair with Kuzma. That would solve a lot of the Clippers and Bucks issues as having larger guys with size who can guard multiple positions and hit the jumper will make those matchups go I. Our favor

Being one of the few out of all these "dummies" that were great draft picks (of the Lakers) over the last 4-5 years .... who did not do it .... and seek out Kobe to learn from .... I expect his footwork to continue to improve as well with all the options A, B and C on moves he works on. He wants it like Ingram wants it and will continue to work his a** off I have no doubt. Great to hear from @THE ALARM, if true, that he's no longer involved with a succubus Kardashian/Jenner female unit.

Great stretch from Kuzma lately. Very encouraging. Play like this to the ASB and I'll happily eat crow. And stay f'n healthy.

Bad shooting game tonight, but maybe the best game I've seen him play defensively. He's usually good for a few bone head defensive plays per game, but he was really good all game tonight.

Keeps him humble after a couple of 20 point outings.

You are probably not aware of this, but you come across with this post as a victim in search of an abuser.

This is not that last site you left and these are not those Moderators. None of the staff here is looking to "establish dominance over everyone". No Mod here has told you "not to say differing opinions".

And no members here are "nearly functionally illiterate" in spite of your characterization.

You have had one Mod (who happens to be an excellent Mod) ask you to stop taking various threads off topic. That's a simple request, and unless you are functionally illiterate, it should be easy to understand and make the needed adjustment.

It might benefit you to read the site rules. We don't promote bland posting, but there actually are worse crimes.

Thanks for saying it, most of us are thinking it! To me, when a NEW poster makes disparaging remarks towards a mod, I just don't see why much tolerance should be extended. Huge bravado coming out of anyone's mouth, typically makes me think they must be really young without much self awareness. While I appreciate that everyone has a different take, I would really hope that most of us are actually Lakers FANS first and foremost. I kind of hate all the trade talk this early in the season, and all the doom and gloom from some people, however, while it may take me longer to come to those conclusions, I can usually see the potential points being made. Just don't want to constantly be beaten over the head with it while being denigrated for not seeing it someone else's way.

I don't agree with hardly anyone all the time, not even my wife. That's life. Don't even agree with all the mods takes, however, I don't think people who posts here for free should be denigrating any mods EVER. It is a total pain in the arse to moderate a forum like this, there is very little in it for the mods. And anyone who is adding to their workload and forcing them to deal with behind the scene BS is a problem and not a solution.

I was going to leave the last post be out of respect to the mod, but I was not being disparaging just stating a fact.

There were posters who would clown around and troll constantly while I actually took the time to carefully explain my thoughts albeit unpopular ones.

I have no problem with what was asked of me. Posting in the right category is a fair request... I simply have noticed old time posters go off on random tangents and are given more slack. This also should be expected and not a big deal as that is the way the world works.

However, I do have a problem with pissing contests and moderators exerting their will because they can. That is what happened the last time and rather than kissing a** I told them to ban me. So far the moderators here have been fair and so I will continue to post.

It's true moderators have a thankless job and I do take that into account. But high volume posters are also a rare breed that should be cultivated within reason. It's a two way street and both sides should respect each other.

So had you been the moderator Wino, I would have also left. Doesn't mean I think you are a bad poster or person... just means that I prefer more liberal posting environments. You may not like what I say, but I usually say what I say with respect.

Are you sure what you’re reading as trolling isn’t just a difference in personality though? I’ve seen many times a poster will put a lot of time thought and research into a post, and it seems they want a serious discussion of the topic, but get replies that are joking and tongue in cheek. I understand it can be infuriation whenever you feel you’re giving good analysis, but some people just enjoy joking about nearly everything and it’s just how they like to post. There’s nothing wrong with that, it might just not be everyone’s preferred style.

I'm not talking about this site. There was one guy in particular who spammed around 10000 posts mostly one sentence lines where he'd replace an r for the word "are" or 2 for "too", had horrendous spelling ability and was not only not informative or constructive but then would spend most of time telling other posters how wrong they were without any intelligent rebuttal. The poster abeer spends a lot of time telling me I'm wrong sometimes in a sarcastic or dismissive tone but he doesn't bother me for the most part because although I disagree at least his thoughts are well argued.

My breaking point was when the moderator allowed that guy to continue unchecked while warning me not to argue so much.

I don't care if someone contradicts me a thousand times... but if the moderator tells me essentially I can't defend my point against someone else then there's no point for me to continue. I had no issues with the other moderators on the site.

I think Scented Meat argues his posts well and even posts facts to back up his opinions. I just don't draw the same conclusion that he does. That's fascinating and interesting at the same time, but if I feel there's no point in speaking further, I might not reply knowing I know our stances are so different.

I think we actually share a few of the same views and have both expressed similar items on ball movement, etc. Hopefully you don't dwell too deep on any disagreements. This is a great place to call home, and I'd consider anyone here for the first few months going through initiation.

Take Ox for example. He contributes basically only irrational points or male chauvinistic posts, and if you don't like it, he invites you to Temecula. We all laugh about it now, but it upsets nobody. Hope you stick around for good conversation. Variety makes the world go down.

On Kuzma basic no show, I think it's clear that Lebron's good squad gave Kuzma the old Soap party the night before for his trainer's comments, and his body wasn't right. Pretty inexplicable how he went from on fire to the OLD KCP in a blink of an eye. But darn if it isn't nice to know we have the 3rd scorer we needed on the squad already? If we can get all pistons firing, I like the roster pretty well. I'm more concerned about style of play and how we are/are not using people right now.

Meat argues nonsense. Doesn't matter if he's eloquent in his writing. And I've never asked anyone to meet me in Temecula. I just happened to live here.

Anything you don't agree with is nonsense, we get it. Most people feel what we don't agree with is nonsense. I have a neighbor with a bumper sticker that says "Billionaires shouldn't exist"

I have strong opinions about that, but I'm not going to treat my neighbor like crap over their ill informed perspective and small minded view of the world. I can say, "Well, that's a person I won't talk economics and politics with lol."

Are we supposed to hold people back that are wildly successful and make them sell what they have to meet your limitations? Just whack. To me that would be like.....mmmm Cookie has too many likes per posts due to her Doom thread, so to make things more fair, make her delete posts with too many likes so nobody else feels inferior. I'll never understand that type of thinking.

And SORRY for using you as an example, it wasn't meant as personal at all. You went through a phase of just posting NO for replies since you thought it was funny. I'll never forget it, but it was an era that was easy to recall as an example. I love reading your posts, and you constantly crack me up.

The legend of macho OX has grown on here along the lines of Caruso. All in fun, and I hope he sticks around to enjoy it all and become one of the guys.
