He should skip a game or two before the ASG. Show up, sign few autographs, fake an injury, skip a game after that and voila.

I think he has the same aches and pains that any 35 year old player will have, but with his high mileage, I don't think it's going to get much better than this. His best role is as a distributor and being opportunistic on offense. He's managing his own limitations pretty well right now, and the ball has been moving better since he was out a game.

He's not a walking triple double threat every night, but dangit if he isn't close.

Dang, notice the hops on this kid at 18. Now if he takes off of one leg near the hoop, the lift just isn't there. Maybe it's injury and maybe it's not, but here is one of the most gifted athletes of all time in basketball.

He's clearly injured out there. I've watched LeBron play his entire career. He's 35 but the past two weeks, he really does look 35. Things come with age but he doesn't seem to be forcing plays that he would normally be able to make with sheer athleticism. Knicks+Cleveland should be two games where LeBron can find rest. They will both be home games and I have full confidence that we can win without LeBron. Last year, we were 4th seed and just a few games behind the 1st seed in the West until LeBron got injured. We don't need that this season. R-E-S-T him if needed... I don't care if we end up losing the 1st seed and end up the 4th.

I realize that Skip Bayless is schtick is to be a hater on certain topics, but he brings up something I would not have guessed and did not know.

LeBron leads the NBA in 4th qtr shot attempts. He’s choosing to look at that in a negative way, but I think the reality is we have a team leader who is doing everything he can to prevent us from losing. He’s willing to take on that responsibility even if that’s not his true nature, and that is commendable.

the schtick starts working against you at some point. it's how henry abbott became irrelevant, imo. dude just couldn't handle kobe's greatness and ended up back in the blogosphere because of it.

set you parameters ahead of time and stick to them. i'm a harden hater, but for the last three weeks or so, he's played a brand of basketball i can accept more than the one he's played to this point. i'll admit it, though. and that's the difference between me and skip.

    both cute baby aliens.

if anyone's forgotten, these were the cavs pre-lebron. a complete afterthought in the league

and without him they're back to being an afterthought again. crazy how one guy literally transformed that entire franchise from being nothing to a title contender

It’s pretty crazy, but he basically helped us go from the gutter to contender pretty quickly here too.
