Yes, I completely jumped the gun and assumed he was going to be the coach.

I had a random dream last night that New Orleans flat out waived Lonzo Ball. Just cut him. Released him.

And Laker fans had no interest in him since he can't shoot.

Ya'all are harsh even in my dreams.

He was a beast. And I’m thrilled with how his kid is playing.

Oh yeah. Prime and healthy Arvydas would be doing things, Luka is doing right now (only at a C position). Guy was one of the biggest b-ball talents ever.

Reading about how his career was derailed by state mishandling of his injury is depressing.

First I've heard of that. Do you have a link to info by any chance? I know we was highly regarded as a young player, and I just thought we only got to see the "Old Sabonis" once he came to the NBA. I was unaware of injury.

There’s an overview of it on his Wiki. I don’t know that he ever criticized the national team personally, but the major claim is that they kept pressuring him to play year round and he kept doing it. That screwed up his legs and sapped his explosiveness.

Yes he was .I have seen him played whole career for Zalgiris from Lithuania and Ex -Soviet national team. But there was no bull with load management at that time and he could be even promoted to some team like equivalent to G -League.

At least the Tenants choked away a 17 point lead at half time today

This was Westbrooks best game as a Rocket so far, looked like the fast and aggressive player we all know. Had his shot today as well.

Overall, a pretty bipolar game with big streaks. PJ Tucker sealed it at the end with the offensive rebounding.

    "Still short tho"

Yes, I thought he would have worked on his height with all that time away from the game in the off-season. Shows a poor work ethic when he is unwilling through sheer sloth to not work on a basketball weakness. No commitment to the game that pays for the booster seats in his car and the collection of tiny tiny suits he has in his mini-wardrobe.
