I think you've made fair points and yes, I do agree that Harden is incredible at scoring and what he's doing is unprecedented. But in the context that he basically is the Rockets offense and is allowed to shoot and do whatever he wants (with the heavy influence of analytics), this is what makes people unsurprised. That doesn't mean everyone is unsuprised though, there are debates on how high he should be on the MVP debate on other websites. The one thing that I don't think has been said yet is that high scoring doesn't necessarily equate to success and championships. Harden's ball dominance carries costly consequences and there's a lack of adaptability to his game vs. the likes of Kawhi, etc. It leads to bad performances in the playoffs like the Game 7 he had vs. the Warriors.
God damn it, had to happen to Luka of all people. I hate Mavs and Cuban but i cheer for Luka. It looked awful
Luka is one of my only reasons to watch basketball outside of the Lakers. word is it’s not super serious though.
I wonder if the Lakers/Bucks game will be the highest collective winning percentage for two teams playing against each other this late in the season...
Interesting chart via reddit... showing that Harden ranks only third in terms of ratio of FTs to total points. So haters need to start attacking Butler and Embiid first.
Only cheating floppers get the hate. You do get that right? Embiid might exaggerate a little from time to time, but both of those guys are drawing legit contact and trying to finish through contact. Harden is initiating contact hoping to get to the line while baiting the refs. It's night and day. But I understand you love Harden, so I won't say any more.
The Golden State Warriors have been named ‘Franchise of the Decade’ across all professional sports teams by @sbjsbd » http://on.nba.com/36HSj8x but...No Durant is mentioned
he didn't like not getting the call on the exaggerated flopping post contact, so that's how he handled it. What a punk.
He's baaack .... Lebron's really going to want answers now. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/knicks-hire-david-blatt-181354668.html
but he's not coaching. the article is probably biased, but it does make a pretty good case that it's just more ny crony-ism, not unlike our rambii. again, let's thank lebron for saving us--or at least staving off--whatever jeannie and the rambii had in store for us.
