The towel that cleans the sweat off the court during the games has replaced Lonzo. The towel shows up more to the game then that Mary does.

Caruso seems to have lost his 3 pt shot. If he finds it that +/- will go up further.

That's because LG is a sorry sack of crap. Those people who run that site should be eliminated from anything American.

Thanks Coach. Can I start now until Avery comes back? Or up my minutes a bunch since KCP is doing well as a starter?

Overall player, you guys like Avery or Caruso more?

Both solid defenders. Avery is more aggressive I think, but leads to more fouls and blowbyes at times. Caruso is maybe a smarter defender, knows where to be, good hands, takes charges

But on offense its Avery. Avery is the better shooter and can hit midrange shots. Avery is better cutter I believe and can even create a bit for himself

absolutely. you can't teach how he disrupts dribble hand-offs. almost never gets burned on those reaches, either--he knows when he can. he can't move his feet well enough to iso defend top tier guards--but almost nobody can...

...except bradley, whose lateral quickness on defense is incredible. if you could combine his and caruso's strengths, nobody would ever score. nice to have each to deploy depending upon opponent, though.

The longer AB is out, the more his mythology grows. If he died in a plane crash tomorrow some of you would be talking about him like he was Pete Maravich. I thought he looked good too... but the AB fever is getting out of hand. The man has a negative box plus minus, is shooting 29% from three and has been average most of his career. I'm glad we have him, but let's keep things in perspective.

If given the chance, would you guys move Avery, Cook/Daniels, and Boogie for Joe Ingles?

Caruso and KCP do seem like they are capable of guarding opposing guards. And I do like Avery a lot, hes probably still the best overall defender of the guards, but we can really use another wing defender

    KCP, Green, Lebron, AD, Mcgee
    Rondo, Caruso, Ingles, Kuzma, Dwight

Thats our main 10 rotation. If AD ever starts the 5, I would start Ingles.

    Final 5 vs LAC:
    KCP, Green, Ingles, Lebron, AD

Maybe Caruso instead of KCP if his confidence and 3 pt shot keep coming along.

No because I want to see if Boogie can still play. Maybe two of the others but I'd also want to know what's wrong with Ingles... he's terrible this year so far

You don't think he's laterally very quick? Quicker than anyone else on this team or that we've had in a long time? Odd place to jump in with AB fever and Pete Maravich smack? We miss him out there.

Yes I was pleasantly surprised at his defensive activity. I just found the enthusiasm for his play an amusing contrast to other players who are loathed like Rondo or KCP. It's not like he's an unknown quantity like Caruso, where there still is speculation as to where his ceiling might be.

I like him, but I'm just not sure anything drastic will occur when he comes back

Cant blame me for always wanting to improve

I do think both are actually good players, which is why they should and likely do have value to others.

We have 3 guards who can play defense, a bit repetitive. Yet we have need at the wing defender spot.

So why not fix that by taking 1 of those and moving them?

I just think hes never been good and had a nice season last year. That was the aberration. This season is just normal Ingles.
