Oldest player to get 3 straight triple doubles and first Laker to do this in 32 years.

Clippers know its them and Lakers in the end. Even if they get the 2 or 3 seed, they are still playing at home in the WCF.

im finding less and less reasons to dislike the guy. as some may know, i was riding that lebron hate pretty hard with sirron for a while there but i gotta tip my cap. the things i criticized him for in the past have subsided and he has actually developed an outside shot and post game over the years. i gotta give him top 3

Read lines that not only is Leonard taking on being a set-up but also organizing the defense as well. No Van Vleet, Lowry, Siakam, Ibaka who weren't good enough to come back to? The Sixers meshing or the Bucks getting better after another year?

    Their just being smart.

At some juncture during the season, we need to do the same with LeBron.

He played 35 mins today, FWIW

We should have rested him tonight - but turns out we needed him to win tonight.

Once Kuz gets more integrated, we should rest LeBron for sure after the upcoming stretch is done (miami, toronto, @phx gonna be tough and we'll need him against all 3).

The "other guys" better start playing from the first Q or we'll end up with another "Kobe's achilles" season...

When LeBron is making FTs and trying on defense...the league is in deep trouble.

they're also picking games they think they might lose anyway. which is either smart or a little cowardly, depending upon your perspective. very doc rivers-ish. "milwaukee's never beaten us with all our guys".

i don't know if we need to sit lebron for full games, but it would be nice if he were able to sit some 4th quarters to bring the minutes average down. but if we're going to need him for 40 minutes to beat teams like chicago, we're going to have to rest him some games to make up for it.

I like the schedule though where we play Tuesday then not again until Friday. That is a nice break every week so far.

We gotta use the schedule and some form of load management, cause without Bron, we’re dead in the water. Past the overdue gusto (and it’s about f***ing time we can puff our chests), any sincere Laker fan has to see that.

We are asking a guy with ridiculous b-ball miles to be one of our best defensive leaders and then to quarterback (almost entirely) our offense. It’s not sustainable and we need someone to either step up or go find someone that can help limit our #WashedKang’s usage rate.

his d has been so much better this year, imo. like that he's leading by example on that end thus far. he, AD, and bradley, and green should shame everyone else into digging in there. dwight's doing great, too.

There was one play in the 3rd quarter that impressed me the most all night more than any point or highlight:

It signaled again he is completely locked in. Lebron was real engaged on defense and had gotten switched onto Thaddeus Young in the post. The ball was thrown into Thaddeus and Lebron tried to reach around to deflect or steal it. He was called for the foul which was the right call. Lebron was fired up, upset that he was just a second late on reacting and was scolding himself while also raising his hand saying he knew he fouled him.

He was so into the game and on defense. That little action was just so cool and reminded me of the intensity Kobe would show so often when he could smell blood in the water. The clip won't be played on any show or highlight reel but expressed again a ton to anyone who caught this that Lebron was all in and has been defensively this year so far.

Love the accountability and being able to see that emotion on a players sleeve.
