Since you put it that way. Yep after all the happy smoke posted by his shooting coach and at the training facility .... get that 3pt % into the upper 30s.
Maybe you want to ask yourself that. Dude said IF he continues to shoot like that... That being said, it’s hard to get a rhythm when you’re on a minutes restriction and again a stress reaction isn’t something you can come back from going full throttle. You need to be on kruz control, before you go full pedal to the metal. So I ain’t scared...and I still won’t be with streaky shooting. It’s those defensive slides I’ll be looking for tho....and I’m talking about his own.
I want in on this conditional “If” game: IF Kuz shoots 75% from the 3pt line, he will go down as the best Lakers 3pt shooter ever, if not in NBA history. That was fun.
And IF we did things a little differently this summer... Uh nevermind, you guys can’t handle all the fun that comes with that. Anyways IF Kuz becomes a legit playmaker...
The wording of the original post I responded to appeared to reference just this one game, which would be an overreaction. That poster clarified that they were taking last season into account, which is fair, but not clear from the first post.
You’re right. I shouldn’t have meddled between the 2 of you and your discussion between each other. Won’t happen again on my end. Btw I agree with you on the Kuz front. I’m not worried one bit with his 3ball shooting. Just be an offball cutting threat, onball playmaker and a dependable defender instead of a liability and I’m completely fine with 0-x performances from beyond the arc.
He back hand slapped all of the players that got traded and said LA has too bright of lights for some people. Lot of talk without the walk yet. “Don’t talk about it. Be about it.” — Lebron’s Mom (allegedly)
bring him along SLOWLY - no rush right now. Let the first 10-15 games be a test period for Kuzma. We have a ton of games coming up that are going to be good for Kuzma to get his rhythm back...let's see
You may be mistaking me for Dwight. I only posted that to fall in line with past board trends in an attempt to be cool.
I imagine a real defensive coach, which by all accounts Frank is, and an actual investment in that area, would do that to you. There is no lack of athleticism. Defense is all knowledge and effort. Look at AB guarding players much bigger than him and giving them fits.
