I just wanna win man. He was the reason we beat the Spurs tonight. I never liked him before but the bottom line is winning and he is helping us do that.

That was actually the perfect answer. And I don't mean scripted or safe (though you could argue that point), just the way Howard delivered it. It felt like he might have found a home here, and I really enjoy his work. And for that I am changing my sig too.

I mean, what more can we say. Dwight has been impressive on both ends.

That ridiculous stat line in 21 minutes. Dwight killed it. Deserves major props and we don't win last night without it.

Couple really nice passes, 2 big blocks, really got after it on the offensive glass. High end maids don't clean up that well. Great aggressive energy on both ends.

Just stay humble and hungry and you'll have a ring in June and a payday in July.

I like him saying clean up mistakes because that shows knowledge and experience of the game. He just summed up his role and has backed it up. I wonder if McGee can say something similar because I don’t see much consistent play.

This is it right here. I am eating some humble pie now in regards to Dwight. If he continues to play at this level we will be very hard to beat.

Sort of like a supped up Tyson Chandler some would say.

This role with a player that was DPOY once upon a time is amazing. All his instincts are still there even if his athleticism isn't quite the same.

he seems so much better with his hands, in terms of deflections and stripping players as they try to go up on him since his last stint here

His active hands on D is thanks to Dae Dae...so y’all know what’s coming next right? Active feet to the D...hold for applause.

Anyways, Dwight forget about putting too much into finding your O (pause), just continue to ball out on D and everything else will come in time (pun fun intended).

yea Dwight hands look alot better now than his 1st stint here, feels like he stripping the opponents at least 1-2x every gm now, that strip on the fast break that lead to ball going out of bounds when Spurs were going on a fastbreak was sick!

If Dwight is the 3rd best player on this team and they win a title, it might very well be the greatest redemption story in the history of sports (that didn't involve some sort of actual crime).

that pass from the top of the key let me know that Dwight sees and thinks the game at a level I didn't think he had. I realize that's a pretty simple read, but he's made great passes, stayed within his abilities, and has been a huge positive so far.

how many centers do you see connect on that play in a given week? it's a nice thing to have in the bag to keep defenses honest. obviously dwight's not going to pick people apart like jokic or something, but if he can hit cutters, teams have to consider applying pressure to him at the top of the key, which might open some stuff up. this is in addition to all the traditional big man stuff that he's doing very well right now.

He also replied to someone in the comments that was saying him in his prime was better with “This post isn’t about me.”

This is DPOY Orlando Dwight on a near vet minimum contract. I am totally convinced if you pay peanuts, you can still get Superman.
