Phil Handy also worked with Kawhi doing skills work - in the exact same fashion. You repeat and repeat those moves until you master them...Kuz has the potential to be very good for us this season, but they really need to make sure he is healthy; let's not rush him back...
THank the LORD - we need this guy back ASAP. Unreal he was out THIS long - but I can't wait to have him back. He's exactly what we need off the bench
Okay since Magic said it, I’ll concede it’s “only one game”....hahaha Still it would have felt better if it was a game we choked away or was majority in the driver’s seat of.
Insert Cousins back in per our FO's plan that everyone except you with miraculous hindsight thought was a great P/U and you got what you're wanting above.
Did anyone not expect this ...... Kuzma, Rondo, Caruso and Cook to help spell Bron with some of the ball handling?
I didn’t! https://stats.nba.com/players/isola...Season&SeasonYear=2018-19&sort=POSS_PCT&dir=1 https://stats.nba.com/players/ball-...F=TEAM_ABBREVIATION*E*Lal&sort=POSS_PCT&dir=1
Whiteside out of the gate, 3 centers, upper tier PG, more defense at the wings .... really is a shame they didn’t have you to guide the organization through this summer.
Whiteside + pick gets you a playmaker via trade. It could have been any big contract we absorb with the cap as long as we gain assets to potentially flip in the process. Get it? Got it? Good. Whiteside also doesn’t force your free agent superstar to HAVE to play the 5. It’s really a shame you have a hard time grasping that concept...but I’ll try to guide you there.
Wait you flipped Whiteside. Your hypotheticals are all brilliant in your own mind with the little problem no guarantees they could have been done and big question which of the players we have that we like a lot it would have cost us waiting around on them. And you don’t get KCP’s slot and money to play around with.
Green + Kuz + AvBrad can hypothetically bring in up to 26.8m in salary Whiteside’s expiring contract + Kuz + other team’s 1st round pick (remember we can’t trade our 2020 1st) can hypothetically bring in up to 36.5m in salary. Hypothetically speaking, one of those packages is a bit more tastier than the other in peaking the other team’s interest and not simultaneously disturbing our roster balance/depth with less current players heading out. Not so hypothetical is our limited ability to get a star player now. We do not have the assets to get that done without player consent (ie no-trade clause) and roster disturbance (ie max exodus of players for salary matching purposes).
