    Rondo is like Fisher. Has this "calming veteran presence" or "plays well in big games" label. They ingratiate themselves to the most important players on the team, then they get to play regardless of how badly they are killing the team cause...they make a big shot once in a while. A big shot that wouldn't have been big had they been even average throughout the game as we would be up by 10.

    No to Rondo starting. No to Rondo playing any kind of extended minutes with Lebron. Start and finish the game with Bradley. That is all.

    As much as I don’t want to play Rondo, if he was playing and Beverly did some of the antics he did in that first game, Rondo would probably have popped him in the mouth.

    If Rondo plays 25-30 minutes a game all season long we will finish between 7th-10th in the West .

    15 - 20 minutes a game, sure. 25-30 heck no. Recipe for disaster. Maybe in special cases in the playoffs, but no way in the regular season, not with Bradley, Caruso and Cook here as well. That's asinine. You've got four options at the one, Bradley being the best while Lebron is in the game. Sure, Rondo is probably next off the bench to play alongside AD, but let's not overdo this thing. There's simply no reason to.

    i'm all for giving him a chance to prove he can run a second unit offense that doesn't suck. he didn't do it well last year, but i imagine he'll be on the floor with AD and more shooters this time.

    don't like hearing that vogel wants to start rondo some. i'm fine with him being staggered with lebron, but rondo/lebron/AD is a spacing problem, particularly given that it looks like the league isn't going to guard lebron on the perimeter.
