I was never a fan of how Kobe treated his parents, but this is exactly what Zo should do to his father. Dude is full of himself, completely delusional and seems to care more about himself than is kids. I could not stand him from the beginning, now I have reached a point where I despise everything he represents.

Good luck to Zo and his brothers, hopefully they can cut ties with this moron without harming the relationship to their mother at the same time.

lavar went in on lonzo being injured, too. little crack in the facade there. you know he's pissed that lonzo didn't play well enough to become untouchable in la. pretty much killed his whole master plan.

Lonzo is still not a man yet until he officially parts ways with Lavar.

Lavar is delusional. His kids love him. He thinks he’s bigger than them, and just needs to shut up. Zo’s injuries are likely BBB shoes related.

    WOw...just wow.

Maybe if you didn't force him to wear those fking janky a** shoes, he wouldn't have gotten injured both times the past 2 years you a**hat!!!

I'm rooting for Lonzo....but he needs to CUT his father OFF!! Enough is enough.

I thought Lavar really screwed Lonzo with that comment. If he was my dad, I would kick him to the curb and start over. F'em, Lavar is a mess and he is taking Lonzo with him. For Lonzo to stand up to him will probably wreck that family. At least you would know that he had some balls.

Lonzo and with Melo next kid up. Gelo maybe lucky in a way being the one of the 3 likely not good enough to continue with pro ball and having to wear the same kind of target. But he had the full boat at college ripped from him and what does he build on for a healthy life, still having LaVar and that show running things.

Not sure what you meant with that, but IMO the fact that he said what he did no a tv show, only makes it 100 x worse.

If you’re going to dis me like that on TV, I’d be saying eff your script.

I don’t think this changes anything

Don't miss this family headache at all. Lavar is bad for his son, bad for his son's team, and bad for basketball.

Yeah. As much as I liked Lonzo's game, Ingram was the one I was saddest to see go. I wish we could have kept him rather than Kuzma, but Kuzma has a second job as Jeannie's pool boy, so he wasn't getting traded. But Lonzo and that circus being gone. Lavar is not conducive to a team fighting for a championship.

Ingram probably has the biggest upside but Lonzo was the best fit. The lockdown D paired with Green and the PnR lobs to AD would have been fun to watch.

He looks like he may have genuinely changed his form, he’s going mostly straight up, not from the left, hope it translates to on-court success

It won't, his shot will always be broken;)
That being said, we'll miss all the kids after AD bolts next summer...
