No need to push him early, need him 100% for all 82. Hopefully if he misses some of camp, it won't put him very far behind with chemistry and the new playbook.
Yeah. If Kuzma can now handle the rock, that will improve his game at sf. Add in an improved 3-point shot...Our end-game lineup will be AD/Kuz/Bron/Green/Bradley. All 5 guys capable of shooting and handling the ball and switching on defense.
It's the California weather!! Or it could be from walking in the sand too much while chasing bikini's!!??
Nah just random stupid twisted ankle stuff. And staffs are loathe to bring back players too quickly in this day and age. #nomoreMambas Especially for just training camp. It's not like he's in the starting lineup. Chill!
This just pissed me off - first Cousins out for the year, now Kuzma isn't ready for training camp? WTF? I didn't even know his ankle injury was THAT bad - I thought he was kept out of Team USA as a precaution - like oh he woulda been fine in a few days sort of thing.
Ahh Man. That's different than a rolled ankle. Yeah I'll be that guy now. What the H with all these injuries that take forever to heal. Are these guys training harder than ever before or just luck of genetics? I mean we know they're not outworking what Kobe put himself through and probably most other All Time Greats. Yet all these stress related things. udleyshrug: Maybe @ZenMaster is right ..... it is about our medical stuff that's incompetent. But we have new direction for our stuff. Maybe it's Gunnar's damn stuff. All these fancy bands and new age methods vs lifting weights and killing yourself aerobically like the good old days. "Or, and hear me out, it's our incompetent medical stuff?"
But the injury occurred while playing for Team USA, so wouldn’t this be on their training staff. I guess if you want to say our staff misdiagnosed it, but I can’t remember the initial reporting. If there’s anything our medical staff or I guess PR people seem terrible at it’s not reporting clearly what injuries are. They give these vague injury reports like here with “foot injury” and giving the wrong amount of weeks for injuries we know take longer than that. Then, after time when they are taking as long as they should be to heal we start to get impatient because they gave an initially way off timeline for return. Seems more like a problem of getting proper info across than misdiagnosing stuff.
