yeah i get such a kick out of that. the time warner people must be so pissed off about that team wins a couple titles, stays a title contender for a few more years, signs the huge TV deal with time warner, and then proceeds to enter the worst stretch in their entire existence
I want to see how much Bradley has left in the tank before commenting on the guard rotation. But I think Caruso and/or Cook are primed to have big seasons. They can both shoot, active off the ball, and not total 0's on defense. At least one of those 2 players will get more minutes than expected. Rondo will be valuable in the post season, maybe a PnR combo with Howard for some offense in the 2nd unit. Rondo has a lot of deserved criticism, but he gets some credit for setting up Zubac last year to have a pretty good mid-season. The super-optimist in me wants to see Howard relishing in that role in 2nd or 3rd qtrs when the 1st unit is resting.
That sucks that Kuz has number 0. If there ever would have been a more fitting time to assign that number.
I honestly don't think Dwight is going to be a problem this year. I really don't. I think he understands where he is at this point in his career. That does not make me suddenly like him - just like I did not like Malone - but I do believe he can play some good basketball if he is there mentally. He's not close to being done. I mean, as long as his back does not give up right away.
what's with all the posts about him wearing #39? its just a number. and if any of you still had dwight jerseys after 6 years......
Better a raspberry than a bullet I guess ..... Come to think of it that will be the sole positive thing that will be Boogie's legacy on LB. Have needed one of these since 2014 when the site was started.
He just can’t defend in space, which was going to be a problem with cuz anyway. But cuz had crazy offensive skills to offset. At least we have a lob threat on the floor at all times to keep things stretched a bit. Do that and board, and there will be a lot of forgiveness around here.
Dwight is probably worlds better than McGee when he's "on" but whether he can be "on" or not is a big question mark. Either way, we took zero risk by offering the non-guaranteed contract and put the onus on DWIGHT to play his role or he's gone. And Dwight is incentivized to play that role because he gave up $2.6M in his buyout to come play for us (and he'll earn $2.6M with us if he stays on). Lots to like about our arrangement with him...
Agreed. And taking my cue from your new style of positive posting after looking at this clip above I'm glad we have Howard now instead of Embiid.
I'm going to keep beating this drum cause some really thought we had frontline depth. Really?!? #ProtectOurStars
